Why is ann sitting she having health problems
She stood for some of the performances and sat for some. You'll see in my other videos. She'll be 74 in June, so I imagine her longevity isn't nearly what it was even 10 years ago.
@@FunConcertMama I play with an amateur band, and it still surprises me how physically taxing standing with a guitar for over an hour is.
@@joe-nf7cf That's really interesting! I've never really thought about the weight of a guitar. I imagine it takes a good amount of strength and fitness to hold it for long periods of time.

It's funny, I work on my feet all day, and that's not a problem, because I keep moving. But standing and playing affords little movement, and I think that is what wears me out most of all.
I suppose I could move like Eddie, but that doesn't really go with fingerstyle acoustic guitar. Besides, if I fall, I might break a hip.
