I know this is an old video and you've probably figured this out already, but for anyone googling for how to water cool their Meshlicious, the EKWB 280mm rad does NOT fit unless you remove one set of front panel clips. The Alphacool ST30 280mm rad is slightly shorter and will fit. If you plan on adding your GPU to the loop, you will also need to double check the measurements of your water block as many blocks have in/outlets along the long edge of the card where they stick out too far to fit behind the rad fans.
EATKILLER V FOR RTX 3080/3090 XL V2- ACRYL NI ARGB is 119mm and seems to fit well. Liquid devil that didn't fit with 40mm rad is 162=+43mm !! so you can fit nice and thick rad in there if not rad+ fan + rad :D
Incredibly clean! Love the Eisdecke placement, plays well with how you routed the tube behind it. Here I was thinking about how to cram a pump/res between the psu and rad. Gonna have to use your layout instead!
Because you mentioned that Riser cable Gen 3 is no and Gen 4 is yes I gave you alike. of course, I like your build and your touch of choosing the colors!
The Alphacool V.2 ST30 280mm fits in too. I used this radiator because it has the extra top port for easier filling, though it won't fit with a 90 degree fitting so you might have to use a flexible tube filling bottle with it, as most rotary 90 degrees won't fit under the I/O ports. I was lucky, I had an old Bitspower non-rotary 90 degree fitting that worked and still was a few millimetres under the top ports, otherwise best to use it with fans against the front of the case.
Wish we still got the GPU temps even though the case might not be the best setup for the card. It helps people like me who have the card decide how much of a sacrifice I’m making by choosing this case. After all on the ssupd website they use the FE cards on their product displays. They wouldn’t have used the FE cards if they wanted people to not use them with this case.
Thanks for this, excellent stuff. Nice to see it with a custom loop. I've just gotten the white version, which looks excellent, and the case is super easy to build in
In the end it's just a standard SFF sandwitch case designed to be mounted vertically. They just rotated the motherboard to have the IO in the rear and not the top. But i think it's a better desigh since it have a small footprint and the top of the chassi is not used for cooling you can put a plant on it to feel like a true youtuber.
I really want to try this build in my incoming Meshlicious, eventually. I'll swap the Vardars for the new Wondersnails from Scythe. May I please have a breakdown of the exact amount of each fitting and which types. I know your description breaks down the parts but not quantity. This video really inspired me to create an awesome hard lined custom loop ITX build. I might stick with my 5600X and pending clearance look for a AIB 6800XT (Sapphire Nitro SE or Power Color Red Devil, if prices ever normalize). THANKS GGF Events!
I keep finding myself coming back to watch this video over and over since you first posted it. I love the case and I definitely love you MAD skills in building great looking custom loops. I think I'll pick up one to complete my ITX build that I've been collecting parts for except for the GPU......I chose an Intel system so I could do it without a GPU but I really want to pick up a 3080 for it. Thanks for the inspiration.
never realized how much room a disk drive and HDD drives bays take up. now you can just throw fans there instead. i Remember we used to open a empty slot to allow air to flow in easier.
it looks delicious :D Thank you very much for this informative video. I'm going to copy your cable routing. will that cable's lengths work if I flip the PSU so the fan is inward????????
So glad you referenced the Liquid Devil 5700xt... Though I am now sad I can't use this case in the way that I want... Question is: Would the 10mm difference in an SE version radiator work potentially with the terminal?
When they release the full mesh side, can you do an all air cooled build for comparison, I don’t understand why is called mesh when the launch product includes a tempered glass panel instead of a mesh panel.
Great build! wow! I happen to have exactly the same components at hand, except for the case which is coming in about 20 days. Could you be so kind as to tell me what tubes you used and what length? Thanks in advance!
I'm doing my first custom loop, and I'm a little confused by this video - If I'm understanding correctly, does this build technically not have a reservoir? Kind of like an AIO? If so, is that enough for just the CPU? I also have a 3080 FE that I don't want to disassemble so I would stick to only CPU.
damn nice build, but worth mentioning those two dlt 3600 pumps are loud. One is loud, can't imagine 2. without the PWM being set realllllly low they're annoying as hell to. Was hoping to see someone adapt a EKWB 120 pump reservoir combo in one of these cases, since I have one of course.
OptimumTech stated he could not fit an MSI Gaming Trio X in this which is 323mm, but you were able to fit a 330mm GPU in it. It'd be interesting to see that 330mm GPU in the case.
Usually, I would be annoyed about waiting for a case I want for a PC build that is not due for release until 10 months' time but I am unlikely to get a GPU until around then anyway.
Yes because the GPU is all that matters right? And for your information, GPU temps were fine anyway and were mentioned in the video. Maybe watch again :)
@@AB-bu8ti no sandwich layout style case is great for thermals on a pass through style cooler. He states this in the video and it’s unfair to the case manufacturer and these style GPUs. This case is designed for an open air GPU... This is why GPU temps were not the focus.
From what brand are the gen 4 riser cables you mention near the end of the video? Great build and video again! And thanks for part two of your sff build, that you uploaded recently!
Don’t you have 6800xt msi gaming x trio? Other reviews say it won’t fit, but it seem to be just like taichi 6800xt. Wanna pre order the case to Russia (with third-party ofc), need a confirmation that the gpu fits :(
GGF Events please create playlist on Spotify with tunes you use in yours videos and share under every vidoe that you made. You have amazing taste bout music.
@GGF Events - ordering cable mod sfx cables now for my build with a 3070FE and Corsair SF600 . Will I be good with a 400mm PSU to 12pin direct Nvidia cable?
@@GGFEvents thanks for the reply, BTW, meant to add that. Cablemod got me all squared away, their 24 hour rule is fairly flexible. Can't wait to build in this case, yours came out amazing!

Your cable routing has sold me on this case. Had been a bit hesitant at the cable mess most other review sites had shown but yours is immaculate.
Thanks for doing more ITX builds
wooooooow hold up that looks ultra clean my dude!!
The b-roll is amazing. I love that it does not zap too quickly but actually gives enough time to see details :)
Preorder placed! So stoked for a sub 15L case that fits a 40mm 280. Gonna be a hell of a custom loop in this thing.
Thats crazy i just pre-odered one, then i see this video. If only now i could get a motherboard and GPU!

I would prefer to have both watercooled. But, damn this build looks so nice...

Looks good, Not sure you saw optimum tech actually route a hard line tube on top of the system, so if you want to, you can do it :).
Perfect Case for passive cooling

I wasn't sold on this until now. I want one now. £110 gen 3 or £150 gen 4 riser. With prices as they are, I won't be upgrading for a while anyways.

Yes it would help.
questions about 24pin cable - with a 280mm rad would u beable to route the cables behind or would it impede the mesh panel? this build is beautiful
Great video.
Have you ever made a complete beginner guide? If not, would you consider it? :]
Great review!
Would you reccommend a dual dc-lt pump setup over a d5 pump in a loop like this? Great video!
Pre ordered this case a week ago, can't wait. Only problem I'm having is finding right angle display port adapter to hdmi for my other 2 monitors.
For some reason I don’t see any option to preorder. How can I do that?
sliger sm580 or cerberus x build would be dope
Does the glass affect the psu health? It seems like it gets no air
Do you think we can build this horizon ? I can see the possibility.
This case is a dream! I don't know whether I should get this or the nr200 tho because this a decent amount more for the PCIe gen4 version.
A gen4 riser is going to set you back about 60 bucks.
When they release the full mesh side, can you do an all air cooled build for comparison, I don’t understand why is called mesh when the launch product includes a tempered glass panel instead of a mesh panel.
Most people use AIO cooling so glass side panel would really have no affect.
@@GGFEvents I think most ppl will put glasspanel to gpu side and sametime choke gpu
It's cost saving measure, as glass panel is cheaper than mesh one.
I'm dead serious, designer of the case said that.

@@GGFEvents I agree which is why I was confused why Ali said the Gaming X Trio wouldn't fit.
@@PancakesTypes Ah damn I didn't know they revised it that quick. Thats awesome.
@GGF Events do you think with a slimline radiator (EK Coolstream SE) and Noctua NF-A12x15 fans the liquid devil would fit?
Very neat set up but I can't figure out one thing....How did you take off that reservoir once you filled up the loop without any liquid leaking out?
When the system is off, just suck the excess coolant out and unscrew the res. Being such a small loop there is no pressure build up.
@@GGFEvents Thanks!
