In 2021 Sega released one of the most bizarre and out of place platformers to hit the market. Helmed by Yuji Naka, Balan Wonderworld tells the story of two children who venture into the Balan Theater and are transported to a magical realm, where they reconnect with a part of themselves they've lost. The incredible talent of a lot of old-school developers from Sega's Saturn era come together to bring this odd, yet delightful game to the stage.

Balan Wonderworld is an alright game.
Considering it was only a few bucks for this game, I got more than my money's worth out of it.
