Well, its a great concept, but not something that should have a final release. Well, for people like me. For difficulty, its likely easier for the first 4 zones. But Hill Top and onward, there's more emphasis on platforming, so boost and homing attacks don't make that easier as the skills are mainly for speed purposes. However, for people who want a similar experience as the old games, bossting means collecting Emeralds is pointless. You go faster, lose rings, go invincible. Sound familiar?
It does, but it's not a bad idea. It's like Sonic 2 Easy Mode. Although I agree that boost ability is cheap, it drains rings faster than using Super Sonic so collecting emeralds is not that pointless.
