All I ask now is for the hockey gods to let Andrew Cristall thrive the way I thought he could after all the hype I threw his way two years ago. Fingers crossed! 😆
I m not a scout or expert, just hardcore fan. I ve watched Suzuki, Beaudin, PLD, Comtois, in CHL after day drafted, also Dobson(5times), Zadina(times) before draft. Now I ve watched Carbonneau 3times in Boisbriand. He is brilliant. Not as much as McD or Bedard but fascinating. Some scouting centre said he is top 25, Top 45. I was so confused he looks better than any other players i ve watched, but it s quit early for evaluation, so i expect his ranking will be go up more. You re the only person who evaluated him in top7. To be honest, i think if he play in Laval at this moment, he can play in 2nd or 3rd line winger.
For some reasons, your comment got lost in the YT studio app... But yeah, I think he's really good. He was already really good last season and he's only getting better. Saw him live a couple times too in Boisbriand and I just love how everything looks easy and natural. When he handles and shoots the puck it's so fluid and easy. I'm gonna go see him a few more times for sure, especially at the beginning of March when Desnoyers comes in town.
Ok. Here is summary of my original comment. 1. I ve watched some current NHL player when they play CHL. Most of them were already drafted when I warched, except Dobson and Zadina. 2. Carebonneau is more fascinating than the players I ve watched.(not only him. Villenevue also amazing, Nobert is decent) But some experts say he is top 25 or 45. However, you mentionned him 7th. I wish you are right, not the experts. 3. If he is top 7, it means you re better than the experts also I have more insight for hockey than hardcore fan.
Especially with the way he started the season but I only saw 1 game and he played under 10 minutes and didn't do much. There's too many players to watch and too little time. When I get more viewings of all the players, the list will probably change significantly.
I liked him when in the few games I watched but I didn't see anything very exciting. If I made this video again today, Cameron Schmidt is the one that has to be somewhere in the ranking that isn't in this one. He's dynamite !
Here is my Top-10 so far : 1. Porter Martone 2. James Hagens 3. Matthew Schaefer 4. Michael Misa 5. Roger McQueen 6. Viktor Eklund 7. Malcolm Spence 8. Caleb Desnoyers 9. Lynden Lakovic 10. Jake O’Brien
Hey, it's been a little while. You've crossed that line eh ? Martone over Hagens ! Personally, I think Misa is putting himself into that mix also. I saw Martone live and I'm gonna go see Hagens in February. I'll have a better idea then. I gotta say that Martone is impressive though. Eklund is also intriguing, he's torching the Allsvenskan. He has a better PPG than Nylander even though Nylander wasn't a late birthday and he's not too far behind Pettersson. Pretty impressive.
I'm not sure if I'm sleeping on him but some still have him really high, as high as 2nd and some like elite prospects have him 12th. Opinions are a little bit all over the place. He's not having a great season so far in the MHL but the skills and body of work would indicate a very high pick. So for a first ranking this early in the season, I thought this was appropriate as I'm not sure in which direction he's going.
@@BillsArsenalHabsFan Davidson got aggressive and traded all his seconds last year to move up to get Venacker. I would imagine the Hawks will be willing to move up to get him if a team in the top 3 wants to move out
Great year for the habs to get another top 5 pick
I'll take any one of those 5 guys at the top, even the left handed D.
Great quality video ! Too early to say but Carbonneau with the habs would be sweet
Great rankings!! Love the O'brien shout I think I might be even higher on his passing. Eklund would be the one guy I would of included on the list.
Always trusted your lists when u picked sleepers and didn’t sway based on other lists and looking back ur sleepers were the right pick

Victor Eklund should be on here imo

Braeden cootes jumped out to me haven’t watched much tape but he reminds me of gracyn sawchyn from last year dominant hockey sense

Sleeping on Ryabkin.
A lot of people are really overhyping him, he’s been a healthy scratch in the MHL the last few weeks
@@Jmulk96 a healthy scratch?! That's crazy. Must be attitude issues?
@@JC27813 he’s been poor, very individualistic, looks like he thinks he’s too good for the level (he is)

I think he was scratched bc he's leaving for North America
I need Martone in a hawks sweater by next July. Him and Bedard would be unbelievable.
Just thinking about that scares me, that duo would be absolutely broken and it would have the nhl completely cooked
Definitely Chicago’s guy, I wonder how much they would be willing to give up if they’re a little too good to get him.
