- seeing Aki cry honestly hit me too deeply. like that genuinely hurt. This episode brought out a lot in terms of introspection into the characters, so it was definitely nice to watch! But I wonder what the future devil will want from Aki...

Power and Denji’s dynamic is adorable. Denji calling her “Powy” is the cutest.
I love how this episode sort of mirror's Denji's interaction with Aki in episode 2. By watching Aki, it's like Denji is learning what fundamental building blocks his life is missing. The first time around it was his lack of goals / motivations (not merely being content to live his new life but to push forward). Now we get to see Denji realize that he doesn't have anyone he cares about enough to cry over. At least, I feel like that's the angle this show is taking and not that Pochita has actually robbed some of his humanity. Denji has shown immense empathy for others after becoming the Chainsaw Man. I believe that he's capable of forming those crucial bonds if given the right environment and people.
I really hope we can begin to see that human side of him build up more and kind of form those attachments hehe
@@farohreactsin certain ways not forming attachments in this kind of job is better, but at the same time we want our boy denji to feel love and happiness
Isn't it cruel that Denji and Power's characterization of becoming more empathetic and sane is contrary to the world they live in and how it TORTURES the caring and the sane

If you love him now (Kishibe, the old man who is training Denji and Power), you will go weak in your knees when you will see when he was younger. They will show it later in his flashback, he was voted the hottest character in chainsaw man, and with that VA ( Kenjiro Tsuda) he is soooo hot.
