Today, we are making a grill scraper. This is a wooden tool for cleaning the grill is will not leave wires in the grill, and it will not damage coating on the rack.

Such a wonderful man.
Wow James! That was Awesome!
I'm going to have to make one of those for the summer if we have one.
The melodic sound of tools shaping wood is quiete relaxing. Love the project
Excellent. I was just thinking of making one of these!

Beautiful work, James!!! 😃
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Love it!
Hello, Mr. Wright;
I respectfully request a video.
I bought a bundle of firewood because it is oak & I wanted some hardwood.
I got 4 'good' pieces & a few thin slivers for $8US.
I need to know how to break it down to thinner smaller pieces of lumber.
The pieces are about 16"-17" long, & 4"-5" wide & thick, mostly.
I want to make a few shop tools, Rex Krueger's marking gauge first.
I have some dowels, I need to make the body.
I bought some wood (Woodcraft, on sell) to make winding sticks.
A piece of "White Limba", 3/4" x 3" x 24" & "African Blackwood", 3/4" x 3/4" x 6".
The Limba was $7.99US & the Blackwood was $4.19US.
I can access a huge old storm-felled pecan tree & an older gentleman just told me I could salvage his windfelled.
But I've never broken down rough lumber before.
So if you could make a brief video showing how to do that it would be awesome!
I'm sure there are many others that need or want to learn how to break down bulk wood.
I'm asking you because you are *the* hand tool guy & hand tools are all I have.
Well, I do have a jig saw or 2 & couple of circular saws.
Have a GREAT day, Neighbor!
PS
The 1st time I've been FIRST!
I don't have any specific advice as I've only done it once myself. Most people recommend a band saw for breaking down rough lumber. I managed with a table saw, but that's only going to work for smaller pieces.
Snide remark!!!!
smokin'
