I’ve been hearing for the last 2 years that sizing will trend downward, but it’s still a 40mm and above world. And although I can pull off some fourties, I’d rather not. SMALL WRISTERS UNITE!
Most of my watches are between 42 & 44mm case width, no issue. I've owned one of these and it's truly a favorite - jewel-like, there's something special going on there, wouldn't change a thing. Very fine summation, you get this watch. I will add, mine is quite accurate, never losing more than three second/ day. Great hand winding movement, numbers aside - it looks right, dead on. People love to poo poo on the decision to go with a mineral crystal...... Once you see it in person and wear it, it's dead on. Wouldn't change a thing. I understand why the Field Mechanical is a gold standard in value. This is a more compelling watch. A fine review, best I've seen regarding this watch. Cheers
Thanks for making these videos, I've subscribed. You have a good eye for design and you've put a couple of watches on my radar. I hope you keep uploading.
Wow! That watch on that strap looks amazing on your wrist! I just saw they released this in Blue, and one in Silver dial, and they look beautiful as well! Excellent review by the way.
So true regarding us who have smaller wrists, I have a Pro Pilot myself and it won convincingly when I compared it to the Khaki Field, it's just another level up
Local brick and mortar watch shop owner in Westwood got her hands on that vintage Seamaster back in 2018/9 During my lunch breaks I would drop in to see what she had in stock. She didn’t really sell vintage watches there all new stuff but because she knew me and my taste she showed me that dial and I had to have it. She gave me a great deal cause the original case had both lugs bent. Apparently that case style is known for the lugs bending. If you can pause it you might be able to tell the difference between the gold bezel and the rose gold case. The gold tones don’t match but this NOS case is pristine and I’d rather have it this way than the original bent lugs.
You have a brilliant collection. All cool unique pieces. Especially the Hamilton is a real beauty
Thanks for watching.
Great watch. The mineral crystal is a much better choice than sapphire, for the reasons you stated. This is a sublime re-issue of a classic watch.
Total agree! Thanks for participating.
3:25 I lol'd 😁 Exactly how I feel about it man. Good to meet a fellow small wrister. My new grail watch!

Appreciate the positive feed back. The watch has soo much personality.
Nobody ever speaks about the lug to lug that the Hamilton khaki has but the new Hamilton expedition really speaks to me

Appreciate the sub kind words Tim, and yes more vids are in the works, I hope to upload one this month.
Best review I’ve seen of this gorgeous watch. Many thanks.
Liked and subscribed.
I have many watches with way bigger dial, but this little beauty manages to be more legible. Hamilton don’t play!
The white dialed variant is screaming my name..... gonna go pre-owned on this one
The white dial screams at me too!

Still one of my favorite watches,! Wrist Down!!
Superb watch and fantastic review!

What’s that leather strap? Looks gorgeous and highly convenient
Dassari strap from Stapsco
I found one barely worn on eBay for $425 with both the leather and canvas NATOs. It was a re-buy and its not leaving again.
Well done!!! I bet it’s much sweeter at that price.
@@thedapperwrist5704 Thanks and yes, it is!
nice review! beautiful also the strap where did you get it?
The brown with black edge is a Strapsco vintage, one of their better leathers. I think they have a sale...
@@thedapperwrist5704 grazie!
With the glass protruding so much do you not worry you will crack the glass ?
Not at all. I also own several vintage watches with plastic acrylic crystals and it’s never been a concern.
I love the review, just saying the original did not have the textured dial
That distinction is important, thanks.
What beauty...
A good morning to you John all the way from Los Angeles California!
Hi could you tell me where you bought the leather strap? Thanks in advance.
StrapsCo
From where did buy Omega for 500 USD

Is there a homepage where I can buy a sapphire crystal to upgrade that overpriced piece of shit into something from 21 Century?
Yes there is! Ali express has a sapphire for under 2 hundo!
The mineral crystal is used intentionally over sapphire for legibility.
Why not acrylic, scratches are annoying

I like the way the expedition looks. Mostly good reviews on it too.
