Excellent video. You’be convinced me that I can pack for my upcoming 16 day trip to Europe with this bag. I do think I’m going to add the Osprey Daylite Plus pack though, since I’m going to need a bigger day bag for outings.
This was very helpful! Although I won't be taking a backpack to my month long trip to Croatia, the packing cubes are something I am really keen on trying out in order to increase the amount of room in my suitcase! Thank you :)
I'm so glad the video was helpful! The packing cubes are great! They are probably one of the best travel gear purchases I've made. I hope you have a great time on your trip!
Great video! I just also use a carry-on travel bag. I am using a Nomad Lane Bento Bag. A duffel stylish bag that packs like a suitcase. Absolutely perfect it is.
Grace Malave I did forget to mention shoes in this video, but added them to my wrap-up video later. I just took black and white Nike sneakers which were really comfortable for walking.
Hi, just saw your video packing with the osprey porter 30L, looks tremendous! Question? Liquids? Notice you packed what little you had in a non clear bag. How do you get through security? I am seriously considering purchasing this backpack for our trip to London next May. My hubby and I were there in May, brought two carry on rolling suitcases....needless to say we will not be doing that again..LOL Any other tips would be greatly appreciated. Love your kittys😻😻😻
Dianne Mastergeorge thanks for watching and commenting! I forgot to mention it in the video, but I have TSA pre check and they don't require that you take anything out of your bag at security. I also take very few liquids compared to most people, even when I pack heavier, so I've never had an issue with it. Hopefully you enjoy the backpack as much as I have! ☺️
Ok Ive seen a lot of these types of vids why do you only pack 1 or 2 bras and like 2-3 socks or 2-3 underwear. Plus how can you only rely on 4-5 tampons or pads. Idc Id rather over pack than forget anything. JS
The goal (in my mind) with minimalist packing is to allow you more freedom from having a bunch of heavy luggage while traveling. This was a bit of a personal challenge for me - I don't commonly carry everything in a backpack for a trip, although I do tend to pack lighter than a lot of people. Especially when traveling solo and I have to carry everything. It's just a personal choice. :)
Remember they are wearing one bra there so one to wash and one to wear ... now panties are a different matter i always take enough to change them everytime i change clothes as i won't wear synthetic ones and cotton with a tiny bit of lycra ones take longer to dry ..I never ever get smelly feet so i find i can wear socks twice if i am wearing them only for a couple of hours so 3 packed and wear one on the journey is enough for a week and then i would be washing them if my trip was longer ...bras one going and two to pack is fine for a week! i used to take 6 but would stick to the couple of favourites so there is no point ...You can buy period products literally all over the world but they are so tiny there is no reason not to take the usual amount you use for your cycle and if you need more then buy more.. if your carry needs to be under a certain weight and you are travelling light you can buy them at the airport after you have passed through security .. you can also do that with liquids such as sun cream or shampoo if you don't use solid or toothpaste etc ... so you can still comply to the rules but take what you want ... i use solids for as much as possible and i travel super light but if anyone needs to do so the option is there x
Scanning ids and storing on google drive is an excellent idea, thanks for the tip.
I really like that your clothing is ALL mix & match, and that you did not give a plug for make-up.
I'm so glad you're not afraid to add color.
I really love watching packing video. Seem like I'm going to travel too!
love your cat assistant 😍
Thank you for showing all that you packed with explanations. Some other videos don't show that.
Yes to packing cubes!
Your cat...😁🐱❤

What a help you have there 🐈
Great video! What brand packing / compression cubes do you use? I'm currently searching for some for an upcoming trip.
I use Eagle Creek brand which I got from REI but you can order from Amazon too. :)
@@afreshadventure4767 Awesome! Thanks for the additional details. Happy travels. :)

Nice video. How was Europe or Italy?
Kitteh wants to be a superstar.
Great video but what about shoes?

He can't go without some attention too! ;)
Seth goes: let's go to Leah's house, I want to see all her cats!

Because you can buy feminine supplies at your destination. I personally need 7-10 days of underwear and I wear the same bra for about a week
@@pricklypear1111 You wear the same bra for a week ... yuk!
