Your haru vest looks beautiful! Taking a break is totally ok, I do it sometimes regardless having a youtube channel. Because we started knitting at the first place for joy and stress relief, not opposite!
@@nikitinaknits thank you!! And you’re so right, sometimes I ask myself how something I started to reduce stressed turned into something that makes me stressed 😅 but after taking a break and setting proper boundaries I feel a lot better 🫶🏻
You are not alone, we knitters all go through a burnout or slump and just takes a little while to get out of it. We go, go, go and just get tired. Never hurts to take a break or slow things down. Love your stitch markers you made. I’ve done the same kind of thing and it is fun and awesome to use something you made yourself for so much less.
So true, I really had to learn to take a break. I was so used to always having something to knit that I felt uncomfortable and unproductive not having anything to work on. But once I let myself fully embrace the break I felt so much better! 🥺
Hi Wilfred! Oooh this was a fun episode to watch. I am inspired by how intentional you are about combining yarns, and finding the right fabric for your cast-ons. Such a good idea to use Lydia's Crochet thread to add integrity to your Rybkas. Finished knitting an afterthought heel for a sock project while watching your podcast :))
Okay you've fully convinced me, I just got the Rybka pattern, it will be a 10 hour plane ride knit with scrap yarn! Also YES I totally understand the "collecting things" feeling about buttons and notions like that, I definitely do that with vintage buttons!

Yayyy glad you enjoyed it. Always so happy to see you here. 🫶🏻🥺 And you were super productive while watching too!!
Thanks for being a part of the test knit! Love your version🫶- Summer
Omg Summer!! Thank you for having me 🥺💗
Please let know how grafting the sleeves goes! I’ve never thought to do that and it’s a great idea.
Thanks for following up on that!! It worked great ☺️ I highly recommend extending sleeves like this!
This was ridiculous. I was literally looking for something to watch as I cast on my rybka and you came up recommended!!
The craziest part about it is that this is the second time it’s happened. It was the same with the puro Cardigan
That’s cause we have the same impeccable taste 😌
I want to make 3 rybka pouches like in the pictures but in huuuggge like real sized fish hanging from a hook
I see your vision and I LOVE IT pls do it!!

Omg yessss. It’s a great project for trips, you’ll have a pouch in no time!! And YAY fellow button collector. You and I are the sameee
