Omg I'm from the Caribbean (St. Maarten) and we had so many Chinese and Japanese (for sushi) restaurants... Obviously, Asian restaurants tend to infuse the locations' cooking styles wherever they open so you never really get authentic cuisines but there was this specific restaurant I use to love and frequent because the first time I went I told the cook I want Chinese food you serve to your Chinese/Asian customers, not the fusion stuff made for the locals... trust me, there's a difference.
It became my favorite Asian restaurant!
I just love Asian food!!
I live in the Netherlands now, I've yet to find an authentic Asian style of cooking restaurant here 😢
