is it just me or was ASU a little underscored here ( compared to other teams)? Not saying they should have beaten Stanford but I feel like 2-4 was a very tight race and the scores sort of suggest otherwise. That was one of their best performances of the season and didn’t even break 197. Just my 0.02. This was a great meet and showing for all 4 teams!
I agree with you. What the heck were those 9.775s on beam? And how on earth did Denver’s final two vaults not score a 10? The meet between Cal and Stanford at the end of the regular season was very similar to this in terms of scoring. People complain about SEC scoring but … I think Denver was robbed. Having seen every meet of these regionals (and 1 play-in), I am firmly convinced they need to be held in a neutral location if we want actually fair scoring. ASU was one of my favourite teams this year. I think their beam and floor are absolutely gorgeous and very underrated. ❤
