These are amazing Kappy. The first house felt sad to me. Someone’s treasures left behind due to them not being able to take them or others just don’t care. Someone’s dreams and happiness left to rot. We’re so thankful for you Kappy that you take the time to bring them to us before they’re gone for good. Both homes are great Kappy. Thanks for your hard work and dedication. Stay safe!😊
Why do people just leave houses like that with stuff in them can they not donate the stuff inside I mean I don't understand why a house sits there like that
Why do people just let stuff sit there and rot I don't understand it when they could donate all the stuff inside or let somebody live there you know or something I just don't understand why it sits there full of stuff
Oh my.... the first house was just amazing. The little trinkets and the hanging geese😮😮. I giggled when you said that the Snow White mirror was really old... like the 1980's, 1990's😂😂😂.
First house made me sad. The last resident had a lot of things that were important to them, but there was no one who cared after they were gone. I think it was a nice comfortable home at one time. The second house had a weird layout, but it always amazes me that often with fires parts of the structure can be destroyed but others are almost untouched. Thanks, Kappy be safe out there
@@urbanexploringwithkappy1773 With the amount of soot damage, and scorching of the upper door frames and such, most of the contents in the fire house where stored there after the fire. The radiant heat would have lit the cardboard and a bunch of the cloth things up.
If you look on the left of the screen, at 9:25, you will see an orb on the left heading for the center of the screen. It is not a dust speck as they don't move that fast or in that way. I saw it earlier as well, but I'm too lazy to go find it, lol. I bet it is the little ole lady who had all the knick knacks. It killed me to see all those beautiful antiques rotting away.
Some of that old antique furniture in the first house might be in the exact same place that the original family placed it. Like that beautiful big bed upstairs.
I always wonder what it would be like to be transported back in time and experience life at a much slower pace. No highways, no cars just a peaceful quietness and then I realize too, how hard these families had to work just to survive. Thanks Kappy for sharing these Forgotten homes ❤
They literally just walked away from this place taking nothing. There's SO many antiques in this house from many different eras. I wonder if there were any electric insulators in this house? That's my hobby, but I have a wide knowledge of many antiques in furniture and glassware. I was a brick and mortar store antique dealer in the 80s and 1990s, and now am an online dealer and collector. I see so many valuable things left behind here. Hopefully, if you see any insulators in future videos, you'll include them in your video. Thank you for your videos!
@@urbanexploringwithkappy1773 Anytime brother. I love what you're doing. Sad to see these grand old homes go, but it's good to bring them to the forefront and attention to where someone might be able to buy and save the house or at least the antiques in them. Blessings to you and your GF.🙏
When the video first started I thought: "Oh, pretty porch!" and then when you walked in: "Let's have an estate sale!". I don't think the first house is sad, it's nice that the last occupant got to stay in their home as long as possible. They loved the place and all their possessions, even if it looks like a cluttered mess to us. I love it, too. There are so many interesting things to see I'll have to watch it a few times. Now, the second one was sad. Thank you for the upload, Kappy! Tell the owner's of the first one they need to have that estate sale, they'd make $$$ 😋
Im binge watching all my favorite time capsule houses today and preparig my order for my collection of 70-90s tabloids and magazines and memorabilia for,to order,in a couple weeks ❤
I think it sad when people leave their stuff behind in these houses and always wonder why do people leave their belongings behind because you can't replace photos of family those memories are lost forever love both houses kappy great video.
The keeper of the photographs may have been the last in line of the family, alive. Or, estranged from said family, and the persons related have no idea they're here, rotting.
It seems like an old woman died and all her possessions were left to rot. She either was alone or died in the hospital. She had no family left or she was estranged. The adult children never came to the house to clean it out and save a lot of nice antiques She had and family photos.
These houses are pretty cool. I cant believe that there are no relatives who could take some of the antiques, and sell the rest at a antique store. So sad. I wish walls could talk, what stories they could tell.❤
7:02-7:04. Small light anomaly moves upwards from the bed on the left towards the trap door in the ceiling. Interesting old place. Thanks for another good one Kappy.
I agree with you. The first house had a general store vibe. The second house, had no indoor plumbing, but it had electricity. Both houses are definitely beyond repair, but there's definitely some nice antiques that hopefully do get saved in both.
Such marvelous old houses! It is just a shame so much wonderful furniture and whatnots are lost to nature. Some of the stuff I recognized and could connect to readily, put some of the other things I had not seen before. There were so many wonderful photographic opportunities in those houses. My favorite shot was the pink dresser in the second house. It was really strange that that was the only thing left in that room, but the other rooms were piled full! As ever, thank you for sharing your great explores with us.😊
Fantastic video again, Kappy!!! I always picture these homes in their glory days…. Clean, organized and laughter plus the smell of a delicious dinner cooking. Thank you for letting me use my imagination to visit what I think were happy times
So sad to see the owners cherished trinkets just left forgotten in the first house. I agree with you about the creepy doll sitting on top of the hutch. That was definitely a bedroom for girls upstairs just filled with toys and I loved the old quilts on the bed. Stay safe!
Kappy that first house had me in tears its a whole lifetime for the family who ones lived there and don't expect it will be there much longer shame about the fire in the second one they were both pretty houses at one time thanks for adding the beautiful countryside as well i love to look at your beautiful country.
I'm surprised that people haven't taken the antiques, there are so many of them. I know it would be stealing but the house has been this way for how many years? I love old antiques esp. glass ones. C.M.
I remember this from the first time 😺I love the upstairs, its like everybody slept in the same room🛏Love how you insert the pictures from the previous visit. Thanks again for the 2 for one 🤗take care and stay safe buddy
2:40 that round red pillow to the right on that chair..I recently found that same pillow here in an empty field (except it's grey color). It's not in as good of shape as one on this video, but brought it home and it makes the best seat/chair cushion. Believe it or not. And I still see a lot of things in this house that people would buy. There's people looking for this stuff at yard sales/antique stores. Looks like people who lived here accumulated a lot over time, but it may not be the way they left it. You never know whose gotten in there and done what.?
Loved both of these homes. But especially the 1st one. Mainly because of the antiques. The wall rugs took me back to my Granny's place as a kid. Wish I had them now. They're expensive! The portable record player was exactly like the 1st one I ever had. (I'm old!) I even had a dressing table similar to the one in the upstairs bedroom. Too bad the 2nd one was in a fire. Another great video Mr Kappy! Thanks for taking me along!
Neat old houses. First one looks abandoned since the 60's and the second one probably at least 30 yrs. I can only assume the owners died and no one wanted any of the stuff left. Such a shame some family didn't at least sell these houses to keep them occupied. In the first house I see the same kind of furniture my mother had in the early 60's when I was a small child.
I loved both of these. That first felt like so much like years of living by generations. There were a couple of pieces of needlework I would love to have and those bright quilts remind me of the ones my grandma made in the 70s. Wonder if that second house was turned into a boarding house? So interesting. Thanks as always! ❤
Beautiful old furniture in the 1st house. A real beauty. Creepy dolls. Poor 2nd house, victim of a fire and agree about the odd layout. Shame. Another hit out of the park Kappy.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Wow! Can you imagine how much light the second floor in the first house had before the windows on one side were boarded up?? It was probably too warm in the summer, but how unusual and awesome to have so much natural light in a room all day long.
I know this isnt what your channel about, but at 3:27 in the video, it looks like a spirit orb comes from bottom left and disappears as it floats away. Awesome video! Thank you for documenting these beautiful old places before they decay away!❤
This is a very moving video. Just going thru it with you, I couldn't help but go back in history all thru this house and wonder what happen throughout the years they lived there. So many stories for sure. The burnt home was awful. Hope no one was harmed. Please stay safe and thank you for going that extra mile for your viewers. 🙏💙
From what I see, that first house was most likely abandoned in the late 80's early 90's. I had at least 2 of the toys I saw, and the inside of the house is very much like my grandparents or great aunts and uncles homes backnthen
I thought of all the memories in the walls of the first house. The grandchildren having time with grandma. What a shame to let all of her stuff to rot away 😢. Great explores on both Kappy.
Hey Kappy!! Your first house I saw an orb in the beginning and around the 9 or 10 minute mark. The second orb looked like it wanted you to follow. Weird how some of these old houses decay faster than others. Stay safe and thanks for sharing

"it's a ghost! 😲"
I don't belive in ghosts, it's the living I worry about.
Thanks for the tour! 👍😉
Did anyone else see the orb at 3:23?
At precisely 3:29 you have a beautiful orb flowing through the house with you. Someone who loces the home is still there
Saw that too
I saw the orb too and looked in the comments to see if anyone else did.
I saw it twice😮😮
Me to, see them alot around Kappy, wonder if he sees them.
Didn’t even notice that! Great eye y’all! Thank you very much for watching!! :)
Oh my.... the first house was just amazing. The little trinkets and the hanging geese😮😮. I giggled when you said that the Snow White mirror was really old... like the 1980's, 1990's😂😂😂.
Aye the 1970’s- 1980’s is almost half a century old! For a toy that is somewhat old I’d say😅 thank you for the kind words and watching! :)

You can see an orb at 3:25. 😮
Actually three times also @ 9:33
Both houses have been through hard times-sad.
You could see Mawmaw or Pawpaw following you around the first house. Such a crying shame people let this all go to waste. Sad houses.
Did you see a small orb at 3:28?
And at 9 is minutes

So true! Just rotting away back to the earth! Thanks for watching!! :)
9:40 the Orb that floats across from left to right.
It felt like this place was being watched over
I noticed also, dust? I don't know.
As an almost-Gen Xer, I can tell you that the Snow White Magic Mirror is unequivocally 1970’s.
Some of that old antique furniture in the first house might be in the exact same place that the original family placed it. Like that beautiful big bed upstairs.

What a awesome time capsule house. Seeing everything made me smile,as im still a collector of tabloids and magazines and memorabilia from the 70-90s.❤
Anyone notice the orb floating around in the first house? Isnt that supposed to be a ghost?
Yes, I saw two orbs floating around. And, yes you are right, they are ghosts.
Goodness SAVE those quilts! So many !

How neat! Thank you for watching and sharing! :)
Sad old houses. Love your montage at the end.
