Made with just regular pie crust? maybe you don't need to add more fat/shortening? I live on Hawaii where I can get fresh assorted mochi. A traditional Japanese treat perfect with tea and there is one that is called pie crust mochi. Mochi is basically well pounded steamed rice and formed around a filling or bite of fruit. The Pie crust mochi do bring my mind back to when we would make sour cherry pies until or neighbor's tree was bear.
I noticed the bear and forest scene right away. So cute. I love block 2 and immediately thought that would make a great quilt. Then today you showed Sylvia’s quilt, gorgeous, and it’s a keeper. Thank you and your followers for always inspiring us. Also for giving us something to listen to while working on our projects.
Missed the live this am, love that block Pat! Yes, bagels in Ny can't be beat. When we moved to San Antonio, I went through withdrawal years ago. I love the new designs by Kate....Stay warm all.
Hi Pat. I usually save about 5-7 of the spools and wrap my bindings around those until the quilt is ready to be bound. It is so much easier when sewing your binding on your quilt afterwards by using a spool holder and placing it close to your machine.
I never cut my fabric in smaller pieces until several years ago when I watched you cut fabrics for your block (like on today's video). Now I cut using your method for making individual blocks. Thanks for sharing this with us.
I watched you today. I love your love cross stitch shirt. I’m getting one. Your changing around your sewing room etc gives me ideas. Thanks for your channel!!
This one's a keeper! Bagels and the best ever block; add to that a fab quilt parade, and my day is complete. And don't forget the adorable bear with his mug! ❤
Such a fun episode! My most favorite bagels in DC area are from Call Your Mother! NYC …so many great bagels! I just received my first long-sleeved t-shirt from your merch and I really like it. It has some stretch and the sleeves are nice and long. I may need to get one of your new designs!💗
Watching the replay today. Running behind on blocks. Finished Blocks 1 & 2 this afternoon. Will post those with #3 tomorrow. So many beautiful blocks! Love the T-Shirts! Have a great rest of your week!
Love the small heart pattern, I just downloaded it and will make a few this week to use for Meals on Wheels donation placemats. I also just ordered two of the new heart tshirts. I had ordered two recently and really love them and the quality of them is wonderful. I downsized in 2019 and to this day I do my best at keeping a donation box in my spare room and constantly getting rid of things. As a crafter we do have a lot of stuff and it needs to be culled frequently.
I love the shirts, but I wish they came in 3/4-sleeve with a boat neck-like the ones they sell at Kohls. They are so comfy and can be dressed up or down. I've tried every key trick to keep up with my keys. The best solution is to leave them in my walking shoes at the front door!!
My husband bought me a serger 2 years ago, and every time I find a t-shirt that is too big for us, I search for a different how to on RUclips and try different ways of making changes to them. I prefer a V-neck, so it is a challenge.
I love good NY style bagels with lots of cream cheese and some lox. I grew up in southern New Jersey and there were some really good bagel places there.
Hi! Love the show, love your items with Kate Spain--would buy them if they came in a larger size. Many of us are more generous in size. Would love and buy stuff in 3X. Just a thought. Thanks🤓
I didn't know there was an English name for pie crust cinnamon rolls. In Quebec, we call them pets de soeurs (nuns farts) and can buy them at the grocery store, but they are not as good as the ones made by mom or grand-ma.
Here is the post facebook.com/groups/QuiltWithPatSloan/permalink/2910721139111100 and I also just raised over $2,300 for World Central Kitchen who is now in CA helping people.

The fabrics are just beautiful
❤❤❤
Everyone’s blocks are beautiful , thanks for sharing. 👍❤️😊
I still make pie crust cinnamon rolls. My grandma and mom did that with leftover pie crust dough each time they made a pie. We love them.

Pat, you look so much more comfortable in your new furniture arrangement.
Very cute shirts

I'm happy that works for you!

NJ bagels are the best. Memories of visiting my grandma in Jersey always included bagels!!
I love that heart!!
Love everyone’s blocks.
I find my mind is exploring all my fabric stashes when we get to see a 'quilt parade'. Just really sparks the creative juices.
thx.
Love your block colors!
This one's a keeper! Bagels and the best ever block; add to that a fab quilt parade, and my day is complete. And don't forget the adorable bear with his mug! ❤
We had the same key holder but it had all our names on it with little doggies to go in the dog house. ❤

My grandma made pie crust cookies and we always ate them with home made ice cream!
My grandmother had the doghouse key holder too. Every time I visited her someone was in the doghouse!!
Love the bear with mug image! So cute❤

Same. I love a boat neck and 3/4 sleeves.
Yes! On the side of my refrigerator, a magnetic one. Have always had one in different places.😊
Good morning from Halifax Nova Scotia
I have always had a key rack...still have one today🙂
Good morning from Ontario Canada. High energy this morning Pat!!
I love good NY style bagels with lots of cream cheese and some lox. I grew up in southern New Jersey and there were some really good bagel places there.
Also Montreal bagels are the best 😋
Love it
Love ikea fabric, I have some cool ones. The text fabric would also be cool for a border.
I love cranberry bagels!! Einstein's in Richmond is my favorite.
I made a key holder for my Mom and Dad. They had it hung by their coffee machine.
Good morning from snowy Michigan
We do have a key rack at the door.
Beautiful
