I did this in the small version for my neighbor who is a teacher. I did them small so she could put them on her desk. She teacher younger kids so they probably got a kick out of them

I love this so much that I have worked practically non stop on 3 of these to give to my grandkids. I have already made blankets for them so this is perfect to go with the blankets. I'm using the same yarn from the blankets so they match.
I am really going to have to check this one and the small one out. Many years ago, I told myself so would make the enormous one I found a pattern for but it might be intimidating and I thought I would either have a classroom to put it in by now or have it at home in a "homeschool" space. Finished this today and my daughter’s face absolutely lit up and she’s been “drawing “ everywhere! She even “drew” wings on my back lmao. Hi Sharon! You can double up the size 4 and get the same effect - if you're using a single strand of size 4, I recommend a G/6 (4.25mm) hook :)
