I made one and I wanted to show you. I'm 58 years old and all I could ever do was make a blanket, now I can't stop finding new things to crochet thank you
This is an awesome tutorial and it was school project from my teacher because she is teaching us crochet, so she said let's start off with a pillow. This is a nice and easy tutorial. I LOVE YOUR TUTORIALS!!!!!!!!!!! I am going to do more of your crochet tutorials later on. LOVE YOUR TUTORIALS!!!
I really liked your explanation of how to work the border row. This is something I had always struggled with, but with your explanation I think I've got it now.
Made this pillow and finished this morning. So excited as it came out so cute! Also made baby booties, hat and afghan. This will make a great shower gift
Jada that was so super easy to make. Thank you so much for an easy pattern. It made this for my granddaughter and I think she’s gonna love it. I wish we could show our projects to you so you could see how they turned out. Thanks again for a wonderful video.
Love this pattern. I crocheted 3 of them, one in pink, red and fuchsia pink for our new granddaughter for Valentine's Day. Thank you for sharing this tutorial.
I love your videos. You are a great teacher and you are easy to follow. I have made several things by just watching your videos. Thanks for your patterns and instructions.
I'm a complete novice, I wanted to make a heart pillow for someone for their birthday, and tried following other patterns to no avail. Your tutorial was perfect! I was able to follow it all the way through (even with my giant yarn and N hook that I bought for the hard tutorial) and just made a perfect gift that I'm so proud of! definitely going to keep crocheting now
I love your video s and have made many of your items ,only been crocheting since first lock down. after I stuffed heart and sewn together I went all the way around the heart with single crochet then also into each single crochet made 3dc into each st..they look so good..enjoyed framing the heart with the two extra rows..
Just made my first Heart Shape Pillow and seriously, it helps my spine. I chose the Baby Bernat Blanket yarn in a multi with white being the dominant color with coral and grey. It is great for the neck as you said!! Thank you! It turned out beautiful. I will be making more! 🙋💕❤💚💜
Thanks, Jayda - making your shawl next - cannot remember the name of it but it's the white and pink or wine color wide stripes. I find that the detail and pace of your tutorials are just right - :)
Thank you....turned out really pretty. I have a photo of my dog (spontaneous) with his chin in the dip between mounds of the heart. He favors that pillow....lol
Thank you for this pattern. I'm not a blanket gal lol. Love making toys for my fur babies. It was a quick, easy, super cute pillow for my 15 year old fur baby!
I made the heart pillow using Bernat Baby Blanket yarn (purple) to go with C2C baby blanket and I absolutely love them. Your tutorials are perfect and so easy to follow.
I thought you were just entertaining, but you instruct also! I can easily follow your tutorials and I’ve had a stroke! You are an amazing woman! Love, love love. I made a smaller heart from this tutorial. All I need is a mini doll like the one on some of your intro’s. Thank you
How is it my teenager asked me to crochet a heart pillow for his girlfriend and I open RUclips and your video was there. Perfect timing! I’m using double strands and a bigger hook to make it a bit bigger. So excited!
Your video is excellent! So easy to follow! My pillow turned out great. I used an L hook & Bernat Softee Chunky yarn in color Berry Red. Very happy with the outcome. You made it very easy. Going to make another using 4 weight worsted yarn.
Thank you sooooooo much for teaching us... this was very useful to me... I did 2pillows to my loving husband same like these following your videos.. I would like to thankful to you again and again... the teaching methods are very clear full... please do more for us 🥰🥰🥰
I love these hearts. I must admit I was questioning on the humps of the heart. However, you explained it great. I'm making quiet a few for my special people in my life. Thank you jayda for another wonderful titorial
Love this sweet little pillow! ❤ I used two strands of yarn, one a variegated. Used a K hook to compensate for the two strands. It worked up BEAUTIFULLY!! Love your tutorials, Jayda!!!
Thank you so much for this video, my first time making a heart pillow yesterday for my best friend who is currently pregnant :). I’m still improving my crochet skills everyday so this was a good next level for me.
I am still fairly new at crocheting but I am a huge fan of your tutorials and patterns. Your so amazing at explanations and teaching. I've spent I don't even know how long trying to learn to crochet but thx to you you made it easier. I have a question for you though. I watched other tutorials on hdc2tog and some are y/o insert in st/pull up loop/y/o again / insert into next st/ & y/o one last time & pull through all 5 loops! I ended up doing it your way. Maybe the others are doing it based on their country or something idk. But anyways I hope you don't mind but I ended up altering your pattern a bit. I wanted to crochet a much bigger heart pillow so I just continued until my bottom was the size I liked I made it to 42/43 sts across & then started my top of the heart. And kept going until I had 5 sts left. It looks awesome! Thank you for sharing I used barnet blanket brights raspberry ribbon. Thanks
Hi Jessica, thank you so much for watching! There are a couple of ways to do a hdc2tog, it depends on the look you're going for. The way we do it results in a slightly less bulky stitch. If bulk is wanted (or it doesn't really matter), then using the other method is fine :)
Jada I really like your tree pillow I made one dozen of the tree pillows I made all different color pillows I gave three to my friends I gave one to my aunt and I kept and I kept the rest for myself
im in middle making green blue. then blue and green. both sides are different, it's for a gift to my cousin in laws who's getting married next month. thank u again
Jayda, I want to try this pattern. At the end, you showed a red heart with delicious looking Chocolate drips? Could you please demonstrate this applique in a future tutorial? Thank you in advance, XO
THIS PATTERN IS AMAZING!!! 😆😆😆 I’ve made several, and I love them, they’re so pretty and so cute. I made one with a strand of pink and a strand of purple held together, it’s so perfectly stuffed I love to snuggle with it. For some reason, though, I follow the pattern exactly, but a lot of the time it goes wrong.
Ooh that sounds pretty! I love purple :) I made one of these using the Bernat blanket yarn (in white) and I use it every day on the couch, it's the perfect lumbar pillow!
Jayda this video of a heart pillow so cool and made one myself , your so awesome and so talented and fun to watch you inspired me so much hugs from Maria Contreras.
super cute! I am making a smaller version for my daughters doll she got for Christmas. I was looking at your applica playlist and there are cool things to make, but I didn't see a video on how to apply them. I was wondering if you could make us a video showing you putting them on some different things. so maybe on another crocheted item, a pin, a bag or backpack of some sort, etc. that would be awesome and super helpful! :)
Love the heart & your cape. I would love to know if the “dripping “ heart was stitched with the 2 colors or is the dripping area sewn on top of the solid heart to give it dimension like chocolate dripping over it?
hi Jayda i am trying to make or try to make every thing you have on here lol i have never tried the rabbits and things which one is the easiest to start out with lol
Cute heart. I'm loving that capelet that you are wearing. Did you make it? Do you have a pattern or tutorial for it? Thank you for sharing your talents with us. :) Take care, jlee
I love this heart pillow stitch I was wondering if someone were to make a bigger heart with using regular yarn like this how many rows and side stitches would we use??? I am making my first pillow for her and she is seven
Hi! You might find it much easier to upsize using 2 strands held together and a larger hook (like a 6.5 mm or a 7.00 mm) that way you don't have to try and adjust the whole pattern :)
Is there a way to do a tiny version of this like a pocket heart? I'd love to make one to put in my child's backpack as she starts school (toddler room) in September. Your videos are the only ones that make sense to me and are easy to follow.
I love your videos because they are so easy to understand and follow. Please can you make a video for an owl stuffy toy using Bernat Blanket Yarn? Thank you for all you do and Mr. Stitches 😁
