M22R22 I'd personally use a Dremel with a cut off wheel. or a jig saw. something with a variable speed to cut with.
I appreciate the vid and you sharing info about your dmax. One question I have is where do you get all your work down once your warranty was voided or was the dealer cool with all the mods?

where do you buy all these parts from? I'm getting my duramax here soon and have no idea where to start or what to look for lol. I want to do basically the same setup you have but a bigger lift and tires.
Been wanting to remove the EGR crap though it was told if your tuned you don't need to. Did you see any difference when doing the actually manual removal? Also did you see a difference with the CP4 Fuel pump? Did you do the draw straw gas tank mod?
if you want to at least decrease your chances of them getting on to you about your tire width outside your wheel well put some flares on i have them on my 2014 cause i was sticking 4 inches out

Exergy Sportsman! Either or will be substantially better than stock, depending on your budget and overall objectives for the truck.

+rob fa all said and done it was around 10 hours to remove all the factory piping, EGR delete the truck, install the up pipe, remove the stock cp4 and do all the reinstallation's.
Did you have your frame repainted and get rid of that nasty factory coat? I can't stand my factory coating

Shane Godshall it's a gm thing. our wheel wells are small lmao. it involves a saw/cut off, hammer, and some rust inhibitor.

I wonder who's truck would be taller my 2007 with a 7 inch lift on 35s... or your 2015 on 4 inch lift on 33s. Because my dads 2015 is tall compared to my truck and it's stock. Also the heated steering wheel is very nice. Just wish I had it lol.
His hood is gonna set about similar to yours, but I think your truck should sit taller

I just got mine tuned and was going to do the EGR delete.
is there is difference in performance/relibality in just doing the block off plate?
+Troy Setterberg I ran blocker plates for about a year with no issues and to my knowledge there is no inherited reliability risks. EGR is nice for when you plan more serious mods such as y bridge, increased fuel, Turbo, etc..

only have pcv reroute, turbo back mbrp 3" to 4". eventually a fuel pump to keep up with the tune. then will most likely leave the truck alone ..

don earl dealers can not void a warranty due to a mod, unless something breaks due to that mod, and they can prove it.

What's the point of lifting a truck and putting big ole chrome wheels and doing all this shit to it that makes it better for off roading just to drive it on the street doesn't serve any other use expect for being a pavement princess and if people tell you that you have a pavement princess then it's true and you should be ashamed to have a truck with a lift and and all that other shit done to it to make it better off roading and not even use but if you see a dirt patch on the road then you know you are safe right
