It's nice to see an owner making good & proper use of the area at the rear for storage instead of making a minute crew cabin which will never be used. It looks like its ready for diving equipment 👌 Nice boat for the reasonable price
Not looked at Beneteau before but looks good value. Yes, it is a nice boat as you say Nick and is very different in its layout to just about every other manufacturer and maybe it is because they have a design mind of their own and don't just copy others. They seem to have found space where others haven't and for that I think it is great but in some areas is quirky. Externally it has very graceful lines and must be the winners for the tallest side windows in relation to its length of all. I really like it.
Nice looking yacht but have to say,if I was spending £660k I certainly wouldn't want that low bit over my bed in the master cabin. That would be a deal breaker for me,not that'll I'll ever be in that position mind. Thanks for the tour, great as always.
Very clever interior layout for this size, having the intrusion above the island bed and the split stairs on the accommodation deck and the small three steps on the salon deck tom use as much space as possible. Honestly, if you are a well earning freelance service provider (IT, architect and other jobs not requiring personal face-to-face contact with your customers) these days, with the upcoming global satellite 5G internet coverage, you can actually truly live on one of these all year round. This would be the true digital nomad life
What a way to round off a Sunday evening, some shapely lines, a hint of what she can do and by jove she is a beauty. But in all seriousness this boat has it all, and care I say it? Not a bad price either. When I get back from my paper round I will be on to the sales team and . . . . Now I am back in the room. As always Nick, a great video.
I liked that one, the light interior with the sunlights makes it look bigger than it is, and it also is cheaper in cost than a lot of the princesses and sunseekers.
Actually quite a nice boat for that price range. I was surprised by the available living space. I really enjoyed this walkaround video report, thanks and greetings from Croatia
one of these days when you're giving a tour of a super or giga yacht you're gonna say "let's see what's through here" & accidentality open up a secret door to a james bond'esque bad guy's lair. in amongst all of the weapons of mass destruction & devices of anarchy will be some evil dude sat in an expensive massage chair with a map of earth dominated by a weirdly familiar corporate logo sat on the desk and some cat sat in his lap with serious friction burns on its back from all the back rubbing style fuss while its owner just repeats "ahhh aquaholic i presume" then he swivels back round and stares at a blank wall humming the theme tune from the archers. a you leave you notice a 3kg bag of the devils dandruff sat in an empty champagne bucket that's had half of its contents consumed in a rather hurried manner, then all of a sudden it all makes sense.
Loverly little boat - some smaller craft lose a lot of practicality but the packaging on this beauty is spot on. Still say you need to do a tour of the Miele factory!!!
Beautiful boat - even though Trawlers still have my heart. However that Master Cabin ceiling intrusion would be a big NO NO for me. I'm a head clumsy six footer and just know I would repeatedly brain myself on it... with my partner often finding myself stunned and bleeding on the floor lol.
For a 52 foot (15.8496 meter) boat, the designers have achieved a banging amount of below deck styling/functionality/layout/footprint - Maybe a few to many steps for the slightly older audience but our kids would love all that up and down exploring nonsense 😉 Heads up - on another item. Can you recommend a hotel or good base for the Southampton boat show? Great presentation!
Nice boat and decor and the walk in robe in the master is a great touch. Dear Beneteau , given that this was a show boat, mismatched colour of the flybridge cabinet doors and squeeky hinges on several doors and transom hatch is not a good look. Maybe it was rushed through for the show but attention to detail is what makes Princess Yachts great.
Yes it's cheap but you can see and hear the cheapness, those creaking cheap hinges. The interior storage will be made of laminated chipboard but in a Princess the wood is a solid rosewood and other expensive materials. If you want cheap this will do, but you pay for what you get.
@ALSO-RAN ! : WD40 isn't going to fix the creaking floor. Every Beneteau Nick has been on creaks & groans & that's unacceptable in a brand new boat when you can buy other boats, even used ones, in the same price range which are rock solid. If Beneteau boats sound like this brand new what do you think they will sound like after a couple of years of use?
@@nothingsurprisesmeanymore I doubt any use solid wood, they will use off cuts and then veneer. The hinge didn't squeak it was his hand on slipping on the surface
Thanks for the review! The yacht looks very chaotic, kinda feels like they tried to fit more into it than it possibly could contain. Then again the pricing and sleeping options for a fairly luxurious, small yacht are amazing. I can see why people would get this, personally i wouldnt though.
I'm wondering how well those VIP twin beds lock into place when made into one bed. I'm imaging guests getting dumped on the floor in the middle of getting friendly. 😆
That storage area/ crew cabin, looks like a great place for a bicycle garage space. Like a decent mountain bike to explore inland when you come to dock. Just remember that urban cycling is extremely dangerous based on what medical professionals and lawyers dealing with the results of bike injuries will tell you. And from my own personal experience. It doesn't matter if you're in the right, or not, if it's between you and the 20 tonne truck next to you, you're the one going to die. Obviously I survived. Just a near miss.
Very impressive, loved the light coloured wood panneling. As usual great use of space. This is quite common now, the industry shows a thriving competition , with innovation to lift the heart. From an engineers view fantastic and exciting. Especially for the future and hopefully new ways of generating power.
This is a great boat, but where is the washer dryer? And can you have a water maker pre installed from factory? And not have to take the boat out or drill or cut a hole or anything?
wonder if the walk in wardrobe and en suite insulates you from the noise of the engine room. always assume the hum of a generator when you're trying to sleep would be really annoying
