Hello. Sand is used in the production of high density polystyrene concrete (from 300 kg / m3 and more). Thermal chambers are essential.

It’s not going to be that strong, plus as someone else says, polystyrene balls will absorb water too. Better to have the polystyrene at the back of the concrete for better insulation.

It clearly absorbs water as you can see around the eps when you break it! lmao
