Anyone who claims this to be an unused- or an undeveloped character need to understand that it still works as a metaphor for P-3 while limboing. In limbo, he's supposed to be in his happy place, with candies, nice colors, stillness, and literally being a fluffy teddybear like harmless creature, yet in real life he is activated to become another type of creature; a murderous beast. The limbo is ment to give him an antidote to his horrible actions, to make him feel happy and unbothered when commiting violence. But he is a committed soldier, whose mind and memories have been stolen, left only with the PTSD from war, the only part of his memory doctor Sechenov didn't erase, either due to insufficient medical technology or to make him rage more easier. First option seems optimal, given that head trauma is hard to cure, explaining the apple on a bloody head. Hence why his "happy place" in limbo is a warzone with colorful child like visuals.

Just to clarify the Pushistov has turned out to be a playable character in the trapped in limbo dlc it’s why we never see it in the base game like we all thought we would
it was playable in the base game the part when we access the limbo after we assembled the robo-girl + in "blood courier" mission we access the limbo again
I’m gonna day it The creepiest thing about this is how it’s clearly being filmed by someone, and it doesn’t seem to mind at all or acknowledge them in any hostile way-rather enjoying a walk down the path it’s taking with a slight stumble here and there. Even if it’s quite possibly suffered a serious injury from an Apple? It’s so calm and gives a friendly energy... So why does that seem so bad?
I believe it's the "apple" in the head and the bloodied head, it gives away how that creature might be infectious or might be pretending to be 'friendly' so you get close to "it"
What's creepy is how it looks in *the day.* Imagine taking a stroll through the woods on a sunny afternoon, and you hear the leaves rustling. You turn around and see this thing just shambling in your direction
So from descriptions I've seen so far, he seems to be named "Fluffy Newton", based on some facts about the name and the fact an apple is lodged into the back of his head, implying it was dropped onto his head. Now, I know there are plenty of theories that set this creature to be out as some threatening monster, but judging by it's appearance and how 'non-threatening' it seems to be, I think there's a more obvious answer to this creature. From what I've seen of trailers of the 'facility' this game takes place in, it's sort of a technology exhibit or expo for some kind of world's fair type event, since the lab doubles as a display of all the product and inventions made here. Some of these innovations have even included more organic materials, such as sentient plants and 'jelly' that apparently can communicate with humans. Let's not forget all that crazy liquid stuff from water and blood coming from creatures and water sources capturing people and drowning them likely. Fluffy Newton might just be another one of these twisted experiments, suffering an injury. If you look at how the poor thing is designed, it's as if he is within a costume. Perhaps, he might be, but also think about the posibility that he is a kind of mutant. We have seen this place create clown robots, nanny bots, and other caretaker and """cute""" creations that are aimed at children, despite how terrifying they are. I'm thinking Fluffy here, is just another exhibit. He has no fingers, yet clearly has hand palms, and has big boot like feet, covered head to toe in fur. I think he was meant to be as a kind of huggable exhibit that walked around and gave children hugs. Perhaps the music it makes is not even coming from him, but is just music playing in the video to make a creepier atmoshpere. If it is coming from him, maybe, it used to create music for the children, to even use it to play games and 'follow the leader' type scenarios. The apple, however, is lodged in his skull, and has caused a massive injury he is either unaware of or can't remove. Perhaps some kind of weapon lodged it in? Hints to a gravity-gun? There's not enough info to really know, but I don't think he's drunk since he lacks a mouth to drink. That's just my take on things though.
@@vikingursigurdsson The apple looks more of a recent edition, Unless it really is mind controlling him, but if they are, why does it already look like he's in a costume? What with the flattened geet and soft hands?

In the game you enter a state of limbo where you’re basically on a trip. Throughout the level you can collect apples and if you look down your body is white and fuzzy.
So these fuzzy guys are known as "the jelly man" and the fuzz is either mold or a secondary version of the jelly man that has a seperate process for engineering (hence the fuzz). The red splat on the head is because the jelly men are red and under the white fuzz or mold is red jelly. When the apple fell from a tree and hit him on the head it broke through the fuzz/mold and revealed the liquidy red gelatin.
Nice theory but its really just the mc in the limbo his head symbolizes his head injury during the process of being saved or in surgery when he got severely injured in the war i think but i loved that this concept came into fruition
I’m kind of unsatisfied with how they used the character in the game. Would’ve been cool to find this guy roaming and fight him as a secret boss, but it’s fine I guess

This video is a perfect example of how music can completely change a video. With the music, it's creepy as hell, really uncanny and just sets off fire alarms in your brain. Without music, he's just a fella prancing through the woods. And the fact that this seems like it was meant to be filmed by someone using a normal camera implies that he's at least docile enough to let you get close and he won't care
just remember, if it can stay in the path, it can see, if it stumbles but doesnt fall, its purposefully doing that, whereas the jellyman has no bones, is the same exact thing as this, but has some form of upholding itself to walk, it may not have alot of bones or maybe not any form of muscle but it can still walk
Why do i feel like this is some sort of weird or wacky adaptation of when the apple hit Newton on the head? Is it just me? There is so much to pull out from just this one clip. A. Who is "He" , What is "He" ? B. Why the Apple? Possible Reference to Newton? C. Who is Recording him? Why are they recording him? D. Where is "He" Going? A few things i want to point out, at the beginning of the video, whoever is recording, is either Human or robotic, there is clear movement in the recording of them moving foward in "Foot-step" like pattern, with the rise and fall of a leg with each step, indicated with the rise and fall of the camera with each step. The reason i notion towards Newton is during what is believed to be the reason Gravity was discovered, was Newton was hit on the head by an apple. With this showing, it shows a apple, partly Inbedded in "His" Head. "He" Or "It" is the hardest part to describe. It's entire body seems to be glitchy, and have this constant static effect phasing over the body, almost like they're a program or something not meant to be there. They're covered from head to toe in fur-lining, with no holes for a mouth, eyes or anything further, yet they have full understand of movement (Although a little wonky). Update : Scanning the comments a little more, it appears that "Pushistov" *Apparently* Translates to "Fluffy" Which doesn't really help us out alot here, but does cover the obvious part that "He" is infact, fluffy. More people agree to the Newton idea with the apple, which is always fun, but still nothing eye opening. Any tips or clues to these mysteries is super fun to find out!

Wonder if it’s being mind controlled like a fungus.
There's a parasite fungus that targets cellar spiders. It covers them in fluffy white filaments, kinda like this dude. You can find more about it on E.D.G.E. youtube channel
Yeah that’s what I’m referring too.
It's actually a genetically-engineered fungus, I think. You know how fungi grow mushrooms very quickly? I imagine the Soviets of this universe attempted to create Fungi that could grow Fruit, but instead accidentally created a self-propagating fungus that grows giant mushrooms that drop parasitic fruit on the heads of passerby, the fungi itself looking (and probably feeling) like white cotton mold. Then the parasitic fruit attaches to the head, burrow a bit into it, and grows the giant mushroom-growing fungi on the host, moving them to a place far away from the parent fungus so that they may spread and propagate their species. They may also attack and kill any wildlife or people in it's path, both to gain more food, and to use the remaining corpse as a place to plant some more fungus, moving on to repeat the process again and again, until the host dies and becomes a fungus nest itself. Might also just try to infect those on it's path by slapping some fungi onto them.

Sprout reanimating the dead seems how this idea has grown.
It's also a "cat".
@@aperson5436 Yeah, an old idea for an enemy gets scrapped and repurposed as a player model because that's just a smart reuse of assets. Then they think of an imaginative way of tying it to the lore or themes of the game.

The creepiest thing about this is how it’s clearly being filmed by someone, and it doesn’t seem to mind at all or acknowledge them in any hostile way-rather enjoying a walk down the path it’s taking with a slight stumble here and there. Even if it’s quite possibly suffered a serious injury from an Apple?
It’s so calm and gives a friendly energy...
So why does that seem so bad?
It’s probably because humans fear the unknown, giving us a bad vibe about it
@Kelly Betita I have no information about this thing other than thus short video and yet I *know* that it is infectious. This is so strange.
I believe it's the "apple" in the head and the bloodied head, it gives away how that creature might be infectious or might be pretending to be 'friendly' so you get close to "it"

It is more creepy in the day, really
See a bit closer at the apple you will see about 10% of the apple is white explain it to me this thing looks like a fungus growth from the apple
Oh yeah I would just love to be hugged by a hairy humanoid monster with an apple lodged into it's bloody skull
@@vikingursigurdsson The apple looks more of a recent edition, Unless it really is mind controlling him, but if they are, why does it already look like he's in a costume? What with the flattened geet and soft hands?

So these fuzzy guys are known as "the jelly man" and the fuzz is either mold or a secondary version of the jelly man that has a seperate process for engineering (hence the fuzz). The red splat on the head is because the jelly men are red and under the white fuzz or mold is red jelly. When the apple fell from a tree and hit him on the head it broke through the fuzz/mold and revealed the liquidy red gelatin.
But there's black blood clots on the red stains though, unless the jelly-man is made of blood

This video is a perfect example of how music can completely change a video. With the music, it's creepy as hell, really uncanny and just sets off fire alarms in your brain.

just remember, if it can stay in the path, it can see, if it stumbles but doesnt fall, its purposefully doing that, whereas the jellyman has no bones, is the same exact thing as this, but has some form of upholding itself to walk, it may not have alot of bones or maybe not any form of muscle but it can still walk
