Can we be serious for a moment? The HOOVER freak'n DAM is actually the hardest boss in all of gaming! I could never get past that part as a kid, and because I never actually owned this game only borrowed it, I was never able to see the end. I was completely and utterly defeated by a concrete slab.
I remember having difficulty with it was well, but I think the hardest parts in the game were trying to defeat Megatron, and Ironhide.
I got through it in 4 tries

There is an ending where the decipticons actually win and megatron takes over Earth. The cut scene was genuinely scary as a kid and it was nice for a change. ( but the autobots also won in one ending)

Oddly, I prefer the DS version of the TF2007 game. Barricade had more characterization in that one game, including leading the Decepticons behind Starscream's back and being a mentor to the CaC, than he did in 5 whole movies.
Truly, there is something wrong when the video game on a small, handheld system has better plot, characterization, and voice acting than the actual movie it was based upon.
Though it really isn't a fair comparison; the movies didn't have Keith David.
Barricade had great characterization in the movies! He was the one to ask if Sam was Ladiesman217! Without him, the whole Bayformers Franchise would crumble.

He only needed that one line.
Not only barricade, but I feel that all of the other decepticons were given their own personality and character. Unlike the movie where their character was basically summed up to “gahhhh lemme blow shit up gaahhh”
The best part about this channel is there's no upload schedule, so when a DB video pops up in your home screen, it's a wonderful surprise

I actually really love this game. You feel like a giant alien robot that can pancake cars effortlessly. But it is crazy when if you transform once the entire city becomes a Mad Max sequel.

It's this game that made me discover transformers.
I played it when I was five. I didn't understand a thing but I played it like ten thousand hours.
I remember the first time I played this game. I went on a rampage and destroyed every single building in Sam's hometown as your friendly kid-appeal character Bumblebee :D
And I thought I was the only one who played this game to wreak havoc on the city. like fuck the story mode just destroy everything
I remember driving alone in this game once far away for fun ( not in a mission) and seeing an explosion in the distance for absolutely no reason. I was terrified

Pretty sure this was my first Transformers game, hilarity mixed with nostalgia is fun.
I remember grabbing a giant donut, and throwing that donut at everything. I loved the dessert mission with the scorpion Decepticon, and just every Decepticon mission in general cause they are objectively cooler. I was like under 7 when i played this, and I'm surprised i actually managed to complete most of the game, even though 90% of my playtime was spent doing what this guy is doing.
I think my inner Ross Scott may have awakened, because I kinda wanna play this game for the environments. They just look good to me for some reason.

I have had the _stupidest_ hit of nostalgia lately and wanted to play this game again for like a week. This video was meant to be.
Also, thanks, Diamondbolt, for nearly killing me. I choked on my toast because i was laughing so hard, and then proceeded to laugh-cry at the Optimus section.
PS. _Fuck_ that timed level in the dam it still gives me PTSD. I can't even remember why it was so hard for me, just that I hated it enough to remember that I did.
What I would have changed about the game:
-Possibility to choose a character for free roaming, not just the one who had the last mission in the chapter.
-The "no special ability" drones (medium size) can be killed by guns.
-Police dont randomly attack you in "More than meets the Eye"
-atleast one more cube side mission for each chapter.
-Jazz doesnt kill Blackout and Starscream, he kills Brawl and gets killed by Blackout. Ironhide kills Blackout. Starscream survives the boss battle against Ratchet (whos finally playable)
Very short additional chapter in the Autobot campaign that doesn't allow free roaming and is just a bossfight: Optimus Prime vs Bonecrusher on the Highway.
-Mission City map should atleast be twice as big.
-all buildings are destroyable in it not just until a certain height.
-Megatrons fusion cannon should be much more powerful and he should be the one to kill Jazz in the Decepticon campaign, Barricade kills Bumblebee.
