@@swivvy3037just make it a black void, even easier to render. Doesn’t have to be something impressive but it would be great if you could change the direction of movement to horizontal or top to bottom. Then you could do a tsunami escape horizontally and sometimes for too down. Would be awsome

BeamNG engine failures are always scary. They happen out of nowhere and sound like a gunshot. Kinda wish they did a more realistic engine failure. Usually there's a half a second or so that the connecting rod is busy playing fight club in the crankcase before it locks up. And sometimes the engine doesn't immediately lock up when it throws a rod.
Besides having too much boost blowing the engine instantly. Beam actually has decent engine failures, they are just kind of hidden. Like over revving will cause decreasing power until eventual failure, with things like overheating and oil starvation. It will slowly damage the engine until lockup.
Hell yeah more BeamNG!! 👍👍 Hands down the best scenario, it's so freaking cool, I love it! Hats off to the bloke that created this.
Someone should make a version for the claustrophobes where you have to make it downhill before the ceiling crushes you.

Seriously though, I don’t think there’s a single thing that achieves this. The easy ones are of course: motion blur and dynamic field of view. But what makes beam unique imo is that sense of anxiety at high speeds knowing that slamming the car into something will likely result in mechanical failure. And not to mention the highly realistic feel of weight transfer. Especially when playing the trophy trucks and off road vehicles you just get that sense of weight to all of the moving parts working perfectly in harmony yet following the laws of physics. Beam surely is a game in its own class.

@1:05:43 I think a Toyota Hilux mod with V8 and maximum boost should surfice - roughly 2 tons and over 1000 horsepower with AWD and offroad suspension. You could max out the 2.8 inline 4 Diesel and end up with roughly 600 horsepower instead.

I love doing this in the ETK-I series gravel rally edition. Leave the water off and its one of the best straight holl climb events .. bomb it with a tiner on and set times.

Seeing jimmer mod a car is like watching a curious child with the knowledge of a car enthusiast yet not a mechanic or engineer. I was thinking the whole time “increasing the rev limiter with a supercharger won’t give you that much of an advantage” might increase drivability because you increase the overall working range of your engine giving you more room to play with the power band for optimal usage. But considering power, you shouldn’t gain much as superchargers have a huge effectiveness drop offer the higher you rev. You can also only give it so much boos with a super charger, turbos can give a lot more, but with the drawbacks of spool up time and back pressure, as well as vacuum when not In working range which decreases airflow and therefore power.( only when not in the Turbos working range.)

It turns out there is a problem with the game detecting clutch input, even on controller.
Wrong, it's the new clutch system they implemented, felt no difference playing with racing setup though.
