- Does anyone remember this pilot titled "Joanna" starring Cindy Williams? It was only aired once on ABC. This would have been about a year or so after Laverne & Shirley was canceled.
I loved this show! ABC blew it not running with this would be hit.
This originally aired on ABC on April 30, 1985, which would be TWO and a half years after Cindy Williams left Laverne & Shirley. (Cindy only appeared in the first two episodes of the final season).
i never saw this pilot but knowing how cute and funny Cindy was and looking at the opening looks like it would have been a fun show
They should have used Kool and the Gang's version of Joanna instead, the show might have taken. However, that Three's a Crowd show was terrible!! Nobody liked Jack's new girlfriend, they should have let Jack and Janet fall in love and gave them a show.
Damn good idea. Joyce Dewitt was sexy as hell and of course worked well with John Ritter.
This looks like it was filmed on the same set as “Taxi”. Also…That theme song is horrific

@@EdMelendezwhich makes me wonder why you would care if I had ever written a theme song? What does it matter? I simply stated that this theme song is horrific.
@@Coffee4commonsense Writing a theme is hard work. Writing any music is hard work. Criticizing that work on the other hand, is pretty easy.
