Yes exactly. It will be interesting to have a duel between him and Zhin, who is stronger. Or find out the details of their relationship in the lore, I think since he is a criminal, then he definitely heard about Zhin or maybe even met
Paladins workers tell us that they will never again put a melee champion in the game because in the past when they included terminus they did not take into account the many bugs it gave them and they had to fix them.
@@danielcastellanos7022 yeah terminus is one of the most buggy characters in the game. And what do they do about bugs? Remove them like play of the game…
No melee is not an easy thing to balance in a shooting game

Seeing the improvement in character designs and animation is a breathe of fresh air in the class-based shooter genre. I would love to see more maps being added to the game going forward, nothing but hopefulness from this Paladins player!
I love the voice, fits very perfectly with the character. I literally can imagine any other voice for him other than that. The animation is so good, I love Saati facial anims. Alacrity is doing such a nice job.
I decided to analyze the trailer and this is what I have got so far:
1. it's easy to understand caspian and saati known each other since god knows when
2. on caspian's clothes 0:16 you can see a banner that doesn't look like any of the ones we have seen before, probably a new faction is coming to the game (besides this tells he doens't work alone)
3. looks like his secondary ability will be a range shoot, and this and point 7 suggest he's melee
4. from the guards of that chest, you can tell he stole something from the abyss, probably they are finally making the lore continue
5. whatever he has on mind, he wants saati with him
6. 0:15 his saber transforms, from that sphere to the whole blade
7. 0:25 that position suggest he knows swordplay, which must know for a reason (besides it would be a waste do to that detail on animation to make a character like furia)
8. by the architecture and decorations from the tavern 0:09 they are on fish market
9. the moon LOOKS in one piece, but if we analyze it carefully we can see it has a notch
EDIT 1: there's no guards just like he says, you can see on 0:16 those creatures are not keeping the chest, they are approaching it. why it was like that? my closest idea it could be related to corvus' faction, maybe a trap who knows
My guess to why it's just lying there is because this is not a 100% factual retelling of the story
The thing Caspian stole appears to be the headdress of the unnamed character in Lilliths card art for Sheer Ascent.

If you look at one of lilith's cards, the demon/creature that possesses her has it on. She might be a next champion, maybe in another form, or a skin for lilith herself in a future.
no we are getting an abyssal lady champion for sure, she might also be responsible for seris and her purple glyphs since she is also responsible for giving lilith new "life".

I don't think Evil Mojo is the company that can make it happen. They don't make their trailers, a partner company does. So Hi-rez would have to either make one or pay another company to do it.

Having a melee dps charecter in an fps is very risky and hard to balance (just look at doomfist) so let's hope he's well designed.

We really don't know if his primary is actually going to be melee until tomorrow. Also, Vatu exists (with spread on his primary and an ability that teleports him directly to an enemy, he is close enough).

Most new champs has had at least one unfun element to them.
I dunno if people find playing Lilith fun, but nobody finds playing against her fun. She has low-scaled megaton (Previously Cassie card that knocked people off, now reworked because everybody found it annoying) in her base primary fire and has the health of a tank. It's not much of a problem to wait and let her use up some of her HP resource to flank her, but nothing can be done when she herself flanks.
VII, despite being underpowered on release, still wasn't fun to go against thanks to mag dump and C4's.
Betty is a Dredge rehash. Nobody likes Dredge.
And so on. Only 2 somewhat recently released champs come to mind who were good. Vatu and Azaan. And one of these 2, despite having no kit design issue, was so overpowered on release that he's still relevant after huge amount of nerfs.
This has to be Balthiers voice actor from final fantasy 12… instantly maining!
