if you can use a scotch brite, then there is no 'coating' surface? Can I use oven cleaner (like easy off) instead of abrasive pad to remove burn stains (like from oil frying)?

this is all nice washing the inside, easy indeed. The problem that I faced is that after few uses the pan got brown strikes on the bottom outside (ceramic cooker). I have some cookware much less expensive for more than 10 years and they do not get it.

I have my hexclad pan for 3 months and my pan doesn’t look new. I do like cooking in them but hate cleaning it. Stubborn burn stains on back are hard to clean.

My pans clean fine but the lid is holding soap in it from time to time! This sucks when cooking and hidden soap comes out. I cant get in the lid? What do I do?

This happens when you jack the heat up too high and don’t use oil

I used the Barkeeper's Friend (the liquid kind) and gave it a good scrub with a sponge. Came off and looked as good as new.

Curious as to why after washing thoroughly and seasoning, a black residue shows up on the paper towel when wiping the oil off? It is very common when searching this issue on Hexclad. Lots of opinions and guesses as usual but it is strange.

If you use a brillo, how is that not removing the seasoning?

    • @tomnorris1233

These pans don’t require seasoning, they’re non stick with stainless steel ridges protecting the coating

@@tomnorris1233 no sir, the pans instructions and RUclips videos tell you to season before using it.
