Why is it that all ifixit repair videos make the claim of true tone not being able to work after the screen replacement? I had my screen replaced today from an LCD to an original OEMOLED screen and we were simply able to copy over the serial number and all the other features of the old display over to the new display and now my new OLED display has true tone enabled! So why does IFIXIT keep making this claim when everyone knows you can use a simple programmer to resolve this issue! Is it simply because ifixit does not make the programmer available or refuses to showcase the programmer in action? What is the reason that ifixit makes this claim continually despite the actual truth?
Don’t you need a programing device so that the phone can work with it or is that just for other parts because when the iPhone 12’s first came out a guy swapped the logic boards and said you’d have to have something to program the phone to recognize it otherwise things wouldn’t work
Tip: If the screen doesn't turn on even after making sure all the connectors are good. You have to charge the phone by cable or wireless charging, and then hold the power button for it to turn on
At the last stage of putting the screen back on, you mentioned it should clip into place, my daughters screen has stopped working but doesn't look like it had its adhesive replaced so it kinds just falls out, it doesn't clip, so is just the adhesive that holds it together, cause I don't see any clips.
