What's funny is the 90 day rule is for you to get married, not figure out if you love each other. They literally give you 90 days to get married meaning you've already decided to get married and are just using the time to get the wedding set. Yet, the show portrays it as if the couples haven't decided if they even want to get married in the first place.
dvlsnvrcry432 I think the show purposefully chooses controversial couples via either an obvious age difference or clear incompatibility.
While that's true, I think it's also a very necessary period of time to get to know what actually being together is like. It's easy to get caught up on the romance of a long distance relationship...which isn't really a true representation of what married life will be.

Queen Yaela Tell me about it, I feel bad for her if she thinks her life has to revolve around a significant other....so sad...that must be her opinion if she thinks you have a boring life if you're single....that's one reason why we still have so many women being domestically abused and otherwise mistreated even in a first world country.......I was just watching a video a few days ago where this woman got beaten, then shot dead by her doctor husband less than 24 hours after the wedding (no way that was her first time experiencing abuse from him..but she still said I DO....) so many of us women are taught from a young age that we have to rely on men in all ways... to protect us physically....for companionship.....financially...or that not being with someone romantically all the time must mean there's something wrong with us....or that we always have to be "on the hunt" for our next relationship or we'll end up alone forever and be old cat ladies. Simply not true in all areas ladies (and men in some cases).
I mean yea it's good to have someone in your life that way and yea not all men have big issues, but guess what, if you don't have 3 babies by the time you're 30, it's not the end of the fuckin world. You can still do things and go places with people if you don't have someone in your life romantically....and being single is the best time to take that extra time for yourself and get to know and love and invest in yourself more....nothing wrong with it unless you're only single due to some mental health issue or something....in which case you might benefit from therapy or something. So many of us get anxious and miserable if we're single for longer than two weeks and that's simply sad.....and leads to a lot of us settling for less....becoming promiscuous....being blindsided and hurt badly in a "rebound" or " desperate pick" by something we should've noticed...etc.. Learn to be more independent, physically and financially strong, and rely on yourselves ladies, don't think of men as shields from the real world or one way portals to fun. Life doesn't have to be boring when single....and nothing is wrong with you if you stay single for a few months at a time, even if you're dating. When it's time for you to find someone right to spend your life with, you will.....and if Mr. Right god forbid ever turns into Mr. Wrong or dies or things just mutually don't work out, you won't be afraid to leave him and live unhappily because of that......and/or it won't hurt as much to start again.
That's actually pretty sad. If you need to come here to laugh at other couples to feel good about being single then I suggest you do some introspection.

I'm Filipino and I can tell you that most of these girls are from low income families who see the marriage and greencard as a way out of poverty.
