    A childhood friend once visited the Shaolin Temple with his Gung Fu class, they were guests for a few weeks. Many of the Chinese Shaolin students ordered fast-food sometimes and played Tekken in their free time. They keep a traditional strict diciplined face in public but in private they are human and modern, even the elders cracked jokes and many even smoked. It's not like the movies believe it or not.

      @JmariolinkJ 9 лет назад +3

      Sad isn't it?
      I remember reading somewhere that Emei temple teachers didn't have any students- all the people learning ended up doing the performance stuff in schools they managed. Even sadder is that all of the written documentation that their own masters wrote down got burned in the 60s.

    • @NeoExHades
      @NeoExHades 9 лет назад +60

      That's great news it's not sad at all ! Man I'd fucking love to play Tekken with a shaolin monk ! I'm sure they all pick Feng ^^

    • @JmariolinkJ
      @JmariolinkJ 9 лет назад +2

      I'll admit to Tekken vs. a monk being sweet, but that wasn't what I meant :P
      By sad I meant that there is no love for the other temples of China ,seems to be mostly just Shaolin Shaolin Shaolin.

    This is real. But you must also understand, that these people have been training and medetating for years. That is the reason why their body resists damage from certain objects. The Chi Energy is very powerful, but it is not that easy to get. Takes years,

      Call it "Perfect Body Feel" not Chi.
      Chi is nothing else, then the power to use every muscle to an extend.
      Also people like toy / clock maker get to this state with their hands at some point in their life (speaking of the old hand-built stuff), they can move their fingers over such a tiny distance, that you could hardly recognize it at all.
      It's hardly to achieve it and even more hard to perfection it.
      It's just beautiful to see people getting to the edge of the body and controlling it.

      in Poland in the church one guy was telling his testimony of how he was possessed by evil beings when he was training for 5 years in a group where the boss met in the woods. nothing happened, he had a successful life but the demons began to manifest when he went on a pilgrimage with a vigil to a known church. After resigning after 5 years from being in this sect, he began to draw him to other suspicious practices of the East. I watched the testimony of a woman practicing yoga and in her case it was a hell from which she could not leave because she did not suspect that yoga is the cause. she could die because her husband stood over her with a knife in the night and with the last of his strength drove this knife into a portrait on the wall, not hers.

    Gotta love folks who watch self defense Kung Fu videos, then end up trying it for 5 minutes in a single day, then say it's fake and wont work. First, it takes your entire lifetime to do these things, meaning dedicating all your seconds to this. Second, Kung Fu is not for you to learn how to beat someone up, it was first used as medicine for the body, because shapeing the body, shapes the mind, and the mind shapes the body. To remain in a good well being, both must be tough as steel. The disbelief of such incredible achievement, is evidence how amazing a feat to control Ki is, and how weak minded our regular people are. Ki is the reasson for existance, it flows in us, around us through earth, trees, air, water.. Ki is the universal sword, which cuts through the line of war and peace, balancing the human body and soul. Those who say other wise simply are new souls, which have yet to learn, the millions of years of knowledge that our superiors mustered.

    All it takes is to fracture your bones in thousands of micro fractures every day and the bone regrowth ends up stronger than before, the hard part is fracturing your bones in the first place and having the tolerance to train the next day. Didn't know the monks use newspaper now, they used to just punch the walls straight for hours until their knuckles were bloody stumps.

    And yet, bodybuilders struggle to even break a little piece of 2x4, lmao. Seriously, these shaolin monks know what the fuck they are doing and are the real deal. I hate how most people, especially the U.S., assumes that because you have big, bugling muscles, you can break a cinder-block or push a car. Yes, I have seen some jacked guys able to do that, but probably because they were taking drugs or they have serious willpower (which is funny because theses monks have tons of willpower as well). Anyway, I have seen many skinny dudes able to lift about 200-220 lbs whereas a muscular guy can do the same as well. Muscle size is relative to weight training depending on the amount of volume and intensity used. Just because you lift heavy, doesn't mean you will get big. Most people who don't weight train don't understand that concept. I weight train all the time and when I arm wrestled my friend, he managed to beat every time and he is a skinny dude.
