Finally an interview with listening skills, this should be the blueprint for any of the current so called interviewers we see on the tv. Bloody brilliant Chris 👍👍
I was at Crescent’s that day test riding an R7. Went in to the showroom afterwards when everyone had gone and as Toprak was still there asked for a photo. He was happy to chat for a good 5 minutes too, felt like I had my own little interview with him. Lovely guy, hope we get to see him in MotoGP soon.
Toprak seems like a really down-to-earth guy, doesn't really seem to be arrogant at all. He may have got a helping hand getting into the paddock from Kenan, but his talent got him to the top.
The first time I saw Toprak racing jn SBK, I became a fan. Different racing style, so safe, fast and intelligent. This interview is gold. What a calm smart rider he is. Thanks 44 for this.
I'm a Ducati owner from N. Ireland, so normally anyone riding a Yamaha would be at least third on my list, but I was delighted when Toprak won the championship, as he is just such a lovely, humble, decent guy. You could be a fan of any other rider or team on the grid, but I don't think anyone would begrudge Toprak any success he's had or will have in the future - top lad.
i was rooting for him to get on Ducati after Kawasaki. But this lad rides that Yamaha as if it's a Ducati. than again imagine him using his braking on a ducati. what a scene would that be
Fantastic interview. Great to see him being allowed to answer the questions fully without the interviewer rushing the next question. A humble man and we're witnessing greatness
Top scoop guys, 44 teeth got the gold mine there. So good to see you guys in action with pertinent and informed questions. I am still reeling from what happened with Boothy and send him my best wishes on his recovery. Difficult times but so happy to see you get some real inside comments from a World Champion. Now every BSB and WSBK rider is aiming for 22 bar front brake pressure!!
Awesome interview, it's good to see 44T getting this kind of access! Well deserved guys. I'm a big fan of Toprak, he seems very quiet and humble. I only started properly following WSBK in 2020 and from the go I've been routing for Toprak. Most Brits will naturally support Rea but I think he's like a spoilt child.. Their rivalry makes for good watching but rea seemed overly risky and dangerous lately. Like someone forced him to share his toy and he wants it back kind of vibe. Personally I'd rather see anyone else win. When Toprak won the championship last year it was much more sentimental, Jonny's win in 2020 was borderline egotistical in my opinion.
You know you’re being too much when compared to toprak your style of riding seems far too aggressive and dangerous. Riding out of his own skin, couldn’t agree more
Great job not crappin your pants while talking to him. Guys like Toprak and Miller have such amazing control over a motorcycle that (to me anyway) it just seems inhuman. No matter how many championships Toprak wins (it'll be more than just the one for sure) he is clearly one of the LEGENDS
Thank you Chris, this was so wholesome, and still an excellent interview! You're very talented, and supportive as a "reporter"/media / press guru. Naturally Toprak is also a Top Lad! Thanks for this, keep up the great work, guys!
Great interview, he seems very well spoken and a natural speaker. I recall you having to interview some famous rider (Guy i think) while you wore a helmet to protect your identity. You probably should have done so again if you were going to wear that shirt.
Easy. By being boring in every interview he does with zero personality and does zero celebrations on the podium, not even with non alcoholic champange. Anything off the bike, he's extremely boring. Yawn. Sure he's talented and does bike stunts, but that's it.
Great interview. Toprak seems like genuinely nice guy .Also he named Spies as one of his top three riders . I watched spies backing a GSXR 600 into turn nine at Sears Point during qualifying. The back was so light when he turned in it just slid around. Spies did it lap after lap . I can definitely see some similarities in how they ride a bike .
i agree with Toprak, Kapadokya (cappadocia) is great view for bike riders. We will be watching Toprak this weekend at Donnington Park, P1 for TOPRAK !!!!!
Thanks for another great video. As a Turkish rider I definitely suggest that you ride in september in Turkey because summer is very hot and especially very humid in southern parts. Stick with a decent road enduro bike for the sake of your enjoyment ; )🖖
İngilizce bilmiyorum ama videoyu sonuna kadar izledim ve yorumları okudum toprak gerçekten cok mutavazi ve güzel sporcu burdan tebrik ediyorum kendisini
Great interview and the host done a great job at listening to the answers without or minimal interruption. Got the feeling that turkish people they only give honest answer they just say what they feel straight to your face or they dont say anything. haha
Great interview👏Turkey has only one circuit (2 km long) where the national races are done, thats why you cant see so many Turkish riders like Spanish and Italians. Maybe you can visit the traning circuit of Kenan in Sakarya when you ride in Turkey🙋♂️
Love toprak, he seems such a grounded guy.. the man is an absolute beast on that Yamaha.. WSBK is sooooo much better than moto gp, I’m a massive fan of the sport🤘😀
Moto gp looks harder bro... More powa...about 260hp or more Carbone brakes... Bikes are lighter about 160 kg So more speed bro... Gearing are differents too
@@pomplardpanam8591 You pretty much sum up my argument. It's a lot harder to make something based on a stock motorcycle go fast than something with huge wings, stickier tyres, better brakes... Rea and Toprak are ridiculously fast for what they're riding
Great interview with Toprak. Although you probably put a lot of work into that interview, your style came across very naturally. Would love to see more studio interviews. No other RUclips channel has it nailed this well. (not even Bennetts)!
Fantastic content as usual. Would be so cool if this also happened with Bau, Redding, Lowes etc. Quick question: Was it confirmed that it truly is 22 bar of pressure that he applies to the front brake lever? Wow....
Very nice guy. I was very happy for him last year. He won vs Rea after such a spectacular season. This year both will lose vs Ducati speed in the end I guess. I would have asked him who is the fastest when he does the training with Oncu brothers and Sofuoglu family
@@themekanik2460 recent answer from Toprak for that, he says they all equally fast when they're in Kenan's track, but if there is a race for 5 or 10 laps, Toprak's wins them most of the time, because he says he has more experience for that kind of battles.
The more i watch Toprak videos the more i respect him, he is a nice guy and very highly talented, he has everyone trying his methods from Junior Gp to BSB , a real ambassador for the sport. lol @ marmite
What? 44teeth doing journalism?! Incredible! Just kidding, dudes. Congrats on getting the opportunity to chat a bit with Toprak. I agree with him about Marmite.
He looks like a really nice humble guy. If you met him on the street you’d never say hes a no1 champion 😁 Good on him 👍😁
lol he looks like? of course he is dont you watch world superbikes at all?
@@eze1738 no I don’t actually 😂
@@Andryk_QV 😂 wow... that says it all lol, definitely missing out

I was thinking exactly the same thing. So many people fill the silences and talk over their guests. Good job Chris!

it's an honor having been raised under the same flag as this humble, talented rider.

I love that Toprak kept doing the hand on knee during the chat. What a gent.
Great interview . How can such a humble man be such an animal when he throws a leg over a bike ??? 👍🏁

I found out omg
22bar pressure on Topraks hand so don’t just think its brake setup

Brilliant interview, Toprak comes across as very grounded & "real", great to see. He's a monster on that Yamaha.
