For all of you that are worried, I did pack my fan! I had forgotten it but it's in my bag now and tucked safely inside my carry on. WHEW. THAT WAS CLOSE. Also, I am SO AWARE of the pain in the world right now and honestly struggled with taking this trip at all. If you're looking for a tangible way to help, check out this website. Have fun! Former Southern California girl and Disneyland cast member. I visited Disney World for the first time 2 weeks ago for my Honeymoon and as much as I loved it....Magic Kingdom disappointed me! Disneyland is just so beautiful and thought out and I know I'm biased. 😉 I can't wait to see your trip!
I love Disneyland, never been to DW though. Love Paris, because it reminds me of Disneyland park back before they really started to add on in the mid 90s.
Wow you pack so good… I’m terrible and always over pack especially when we’re cruising…. I love watching your packing videos because it means we’re going to have new videos…..to enjoy. Odds and ends are my downfall….when packing.👍🇬🇧
Hope you had a GREAT time in Disneyland. I definitely agree I pack way less for Disneyland then Disney World haha....but my hubby things I still over pack lol
Have a great time. The girls and I LOVE Disneyland. Went there for the NAM Nationals, so nice that both parks are just steps away from each other. I can't wait to go back. Both my girls graduate at the same time, one High School the other College soooo maybe a trip to Disneyland for 2023!!!!
I love packing videos! This year threw another cancer punch..my aunt was just diagnosed today. It’s like you know when I need some friend time. ❤️ Have the best time in Disneyland!
I do exactly the same with the small cross body with airport essentials which then goes into my personal item for the flight. It's SO handy, especially when using a backpack for a personal item which I usually do. Have a great trip!
Hey Jen! Do you have a video that shows what you pack in your "cabin bag"? I don't recall which video you showed that in. Thanks! Hope you have an amazing/relaxing trip to Disneyland. We are hoping to do our first trip there in Sept/Oct 2022.
Some day I will be packing for California. But with a lot more than that probably LOL It always stresses me out when I need to pack, but watching your pack with me videos always calm me down. So by next year I need to look through your packing videos for the DCL ones ;-) ;-) we might have a little somethin' somethin' booked!
Love this! Going to Disneyland for the first time in about 15 years this summer and appreciate the insight you have. Have you ever done a video with your must do’s and recommendations for Disneyland?
I've done several trips there and yes, there are a few. Should be fairly easy to find if you check out the playlists but let me know if you have trouble!
I agree that it is sometimes hard for me to justify going to Disney World (next week!!) with all that is going on in the world. But, that is also one of the reasons I am going. Life is so short. If we wait until all is right with the world, we will never go. I plan to go for as long as my health will allow me to travel because anything could happen to any one of us and me denying myself the simple pleasure of a week at an amusement park will not change the world's problems. But, doing what I can do, like donating to an organization that can have a postive impact, will help. By the way, I spotted that Rick Steves packing cube. I have that same set. I use his original travel backpack as my park bag. It is light, sturdy, and I can pack loads into it. I tried Loungefly and Disney backpacks and they get too heavy, don't hold as much, and are too stiff. Have fun on your trip to Disneyland. You help so many of us by sharing your blogs and your travel vlogs. They bring me joy! Thanks for sharing.
Did you know there is a Planner Conference in Anaheim this week? Go Wild starts on Thursday and so many planner folks will be traveling from across the country! We’d love to see you! :)
Well, Jenn. I'm doing it. For my first time ever; it's a solo trip to Disney World. I hope this goes well. Yes, I planned to take my daughter but she actually "has" college plans. So she is passing on the trip. I was slightly shocked because as you know it's been planned way ahead of time. But, I respect she's an adult. (Her loss). Because I have reservations at Space 220 and am soooooo excited to go!!!! I'm learning to let go. No, it's not easy... but I think I'll survive in Disney World! :)
I think your trip will happily exceed your every expectation! I'm actually filming a solo travel Q and A for the Joyful Living Channel tomorrow that will hopefully go up on Monday!
I love watching your videos. I just got back from Disneyworld a week ago, and have to say I was a little bummed at the park restrictions (reservations, My Disney App, restaurant and food reservations), etc. The crowds were absolutely crazy and miserable. The walking walking walking which is no ones fault, but needless walking was upsetting. Stayed at the Walt Disney Swan Reserve (which I appreciated your review on by the way!). Stayed there 4 nights, upgraded with my Marriott Titanium membership, Signature suite with Epcot views. I bring my own sheets (always!), so the bedding was fine for my daughter, but get whatcha thought of thin coverlets. HOusekeeping was bizarre there, even with my "do not disturb" sign each morning, it disappeared off my door and they came in anyway. After coming in, they only did a FEW little things, replacing a few little things, but not important others. Kinda strange. Because of weather here in Chicago, I had to delay my flight 2 more days, so my hotel being sold out, I transferred over to the Dolphin. HATE IT! It was soooo crowded, loud, confusing my room "upgrade" haha, was terrible. I cancelled the 2nd night and stayed out last night at the Orlando Hyatt right at the airport. Paid an arm and leg there, but worth it. Enough on this post. BUT THANK YOU FOR YOUR VIDEOS!!!
Do you have your liquids in a quart bag in there too? I didn't see it. I know that TSA pre-check doesn't have to pull it out for security, but I just read that the same 3-1-1 rule applies to pre-check too. Toiletries are the one area I always struggle with when trying to do carry-on only, because of that liquids rule! 😁
Depending on the airport most have a machine now that detects liquids so the separate bag isn’t necessary but I bring one just in case. And yes all liquids must be less than 3.4 ounces with a few medical exceptions even in pre check. Thanks for watching!
@@JenLefforge thanks Jen! I know I was just looking at all of them. My mother and I are taking an adult only trip in April and I was looking for a bag that is not huge but that we can stick a few essentials in for park days.
hi. i am new on your channel. i am going to disneyland paris ( Europe) for the first time in my life this summer. i am super excited and i do not know what to bring with me. Do u have any suggestions? how old are u? do u work for disney?
I completely agree. And with only two parks and Downtown Disney (which I will call the wrong thing at least a dozen times) there's just fewer things to decide!
Hi, Jen! As always, I love your posts and your channel. In fact, I generally follow your advice about all things Disney World. And you were so kind when I made a You Tube video about Old Key West, our mutual home resort. Anyway, my family and I have a trip planned for my grandson's fall break this October, and I want to book ground transportation to and from the MCO airport. I followed your recommendation for Orlando Transportation by Mike, but I can't seem to get a response or a quote. It's been at least a few weeks since I sent a request through their website. Odd, right?
Great video. I have to ask, did you stop using the blue backpack? I am between the backpack and the everywhere bag. I just do not know what one I will like more. Thoughts?? Have a great trip!

ANOTHER PACKING VIDEO! YES! This is making me excited for my trip which is only a few weeks away too!
Hurray! Happy to oblige and the packing videos force me to get my act together so they're really for me LOL

Yeah I am just so ridiculous about all the necessary things and checking and re-checking approximately 1000 times is way easier this way LOL
Love casual, chill Jen! Thank you for your superb packing content.
Makes me want to pack just for the fun of it!

I love those tennis shoes! I need to look for them. I hope you have a great trip! Can’t wait to hear where you stay.
I put them in the description box! And they’re on sale!
Love this video extremely helpful to make my shopping list. What brand are the pants?
I loved the music selection when you were packing ❤️❤️❤️
thanks, Kari! I've used that song before and I just LOVE IT. Perfect vibe for my CA trips!

Yes JUST! But I hope you have a magical time!
I went carryon only for the first time on my last trip. I loved it!
I know it’s not for everybody but it really lowers my stress! Good for you!
Have so much fun!!!
Thank you, Jenny!

I think we could all use more chill right now!
