Well said. The professor here...I got to meet Rudy at one of Chuck Wright's All Star Jam Nights and he couldn't have been nicer. Spoke to him for about 10 minutes about our favorite choices in bass amps. Great guy, and yeah very youthful for being in his 70s.
Sound engineer here, ran sound for Quiet Riot with Frankie Banali a few years ago. At 6 years old, I was a huge QR fan so this was a very nostalgic gig for me. Frankie was the sweetest guy and talked with me about rock n roll. I cherish his time with me. 🥹
I miss Kevin, but this guy does the vocals really well. I loved Quiet Riot when I was a teenager in the 80s. 1980s Metal at it's finest! And I wasn't really a metal guy!
I can't wait to see Quiet Riot live again, next Friday night at Esthor Short Park on Vancouver,Wa🤘🏻🤘🏻I saw them with the original drummer before he passed away at the Bossanova Ballroom.

So glad I saw the four after Dubrow, Garni, Rhoads, etc. Met em in a little club in Provo, Utah on the last Album with Dubrow. They signed a promo photo and my CD also a mirror! Nice guys!

Saw Quiet Riot at the Starwood club in Hollywood and Kevin was incredible. Randy was too so it was one of the few shows they played at the Starwood with Randy. They were not quiet by the way!!

I can understand if the die-hards pull the nostalgia card out and claim that it isn't the band of a bygone era, but this is pretty damned good.

sarzo is actually not an orignal member he was recruited by RR when Kelly Garnis drinking got out of hand and he was let go. You're thinking of this almub version of Sarzo, Dubrow, Cavaso and Banali who was not an original member though he thought he was for some reason. ONLY Dubrow was the original, but he's gone now too.

I still don't know how I feel about Quiet Riot still touring after so many lineup changes. There's one person left from the Hollywood Cowboys album 4 years ago. One person is back from Metal Health (who I'm glad to see). The band's been a bit of a mess since I've known they existed. That said, they sound good right now, so I can't fault them much.
Not one original member. NO Rudy is NOT an original member. Good band but NOT Quiet Riot, just a cover ban legally using the name. People need to know that this is what Rock-n-Roll used to sound like. I partied with Rudy and Kevin and Carlos and Frankie while they were on tour in the early 80s in Detroit at Harpo's. They were finally getting a foothold in the Rock world. Randy had just got the gig with Ozzy and the Heavy Metal era was kicking azz! Shortly after Rudy left to play with Ozzy as well. This is nothing more than a nostalgic act playing small clubs and eating chicken scratch! It's only Rock-n-Roll but I like it!
OH so you'd be thrilled if Kelly Garni and Drew Forsythe the original members were back in the band right? Gimme a break, Rudy was in the only lineup of this band that the greater public ever actually cared about
