Great Passport TN set-up! I’ll be doing this very soon; Thank you very much! Just gotta order the larger Olive TN., & start cutting away! This is a classy, standout color! Subbed!
I had the same problem (overhang) so I started trimming down my inserts so they are a bit slimmer, that way I can fit all that I want and nothing is sticking out. I can recommend that!
Cute. I really like the pages sticking out a little, looks cute and messy. My 'fauxdori' cover sticks out too much so the paper feels small inside and it makes the whole thing feel too big to carry around. One of the reasons I always hated filofax was because the covers were too big and the pages were too small inside!
You've got me so excited to grab my same camel TNP!. I'd been using it last year, but then stopped when I transferred into the Jibun Techo Biz (which I decorate and LOVE sooo much). But now I'm going to go back to also use the TNP Camel for my daily carry as I like this in my purse and use the JTB at home. You're right the TNP is light. I managed to get 4-5 inserts and it's still light. One drawback is that each booklet is so small. Like you just get going, and it's full, so another 5 bucks for another one! I purchased a Leuchtrum pen loop, with a sticky back and glued it into the back of my TNP; works well when doubled with the elastic around both pens for extra security, I can use two pens (two types, two colors) by just inserting with the clip in the loop (not the whole pen). The reason you purchase so many inserts is because at heart, you are a collector, like me, but heavy danger caution. The TN series is quite a rabbit hole. ;) Have you ever carried 2 TNPs in your bag, 2 colors of leather, oh yes. Then come home to the JTB. Heaven for me. Also, I bot some other elastic, like the original elastics and put in two elastics through the one hole, so double the elastic, big knot plus a charm. Looks cool. I like listening to people who are into it like me. Also one more thing, I don't like the look of those plastic inserts glued into the inside covers. I bot them but I don't like the look, at least not in the front. Might be useful but I prefer the plastic insert better.
Nice video. In response to @6:47 of this video, I have a video of me setting up the same TN as a wallet with four notebooks, the zipper pouch and a kraft folder in my channel (camel Midori)… u can skip the rest of the video and only watch @12:00 of it. You won’t see that much sticking out 😊 thought of sharing for inspiration.
Talking about an in between size, there is such a thing as a "Personal" or "Medium" size which is about 4x7", but finding inserts for said size was so difficult (at least on Amazon which is where I would get most of my stuff since I don't live in the US), that I discarded it altogether and went ahead and bought a Field Notes size.
I have a couple of the kuru toga pencils and they are worth the money.. pens are more my thing but those pencils are really nice. Check out Toyko pen shop.. I buy a lot from jet pens and toyko pen shop and I like them both.
I bought the kiki and jiji pencils for 13 or 14$ oof. they're so pretty I really couldn't resist. and on top of that, i take care of them and don't really lose them. never gonna let any of my classmates borrow it.
Is a passport the answer for a size between? Because I I kinda understand! I haven't been looking into that size, I've only been looking at pocket-size and field notes. Which I think are the same
Passport is the smallest tn I use, so it’s not a between size for me. A between size for me would be a B6 Slim. That is a size between the smallest and largest size I use. If you’re looking to downsize, field notes/pocket is a great size. It’s easy to find inserts for!
You may have convinced me on the passport size!
That vellum is beautiful

Yes! Make it fit 😃
I put my comic into my TN, right away 😂❤
I just love the vellum cover - did you buy it that way or did you make it

Evangeline Brown Thank you 😊
Have you tried the Personal size TN?

Aliexpress has the old Madori Personal size TN, inserts, etc. You may like it, the Passport size is too small for my taste.

Renata Alba Camilo Not by Traveler’s Company 😂
Thanks for the heads up, I won't try to find something wider

Love my Kuru Toga too!
Very helpful. What tool did you use to cut through the leather?
Rotary blade
I love the new Jetpens cartoons!!! I have been saving them.
You should definitely try persimmons! They are very yummy in the right season! Unfortunately winter isnt their season😭

I will have to try!

I might have missed something but why did you buy the camel? You have the green one with the trees. Or didn't you buy that with this order?
Don't forget the first R in library :)

Persimmons are delicious, and my grandmother thought the limbs were the best switches! Ouch
