I think I feel the same way about the Hobonichi Cousin 😅 I want to try it, but... For now I just admire other's who make that huge book work for them 😊 Thanks for commenting 🙏🏻 I have missed my like-minded stationery enthusiasts ❤️ I'm hoping to be here now more often again 🤞🏻
Hi, I love my Nolty 6501 which is kind of the larger version of yours. It’s an A5 slim and it just works. I like it for the same reasons you like yours. For me I absolutely must have a vertical weekly and I can carry it around knowing it contains only my weekly plans and not any personal notes as I would with the Cousin. Also, for me, I chose it because it’s FSC certified. Not important for all but something I try for when possible. Your comment about the train maps cracked me up! Yep, I absolutely must have them too!
Thanks for commenting 😊 I haven't heard anyone mention FSC certification as an important buying criteria before, but I so admire and respect that 👍 That is a very valid point to make so thank you for making me aware of it 🙏🏻 Now I wonder if I could find a nice alternative from Nolty for the Hobonichi Weeks and A6 Techo...🤔 I have to check before making decisions about 2025 planners 😉
So glad your video just popped up on my feed. Like others after going back and forth with too many covers and systems I realized that I love my Midori passport. And best of all how perfect my Nolty 1151 fits! I got as excited as you sound! The Nolty is my perfect planner. I’ll use it for the rest of the year and then decide if I want to keep or switch to yours. Thanks for the idea for the grid pages in the back. I also like the list view for monthly. I’ll start using for future log. Thanks for sharing. Loved your video. Oh and fountain pens work great on this paper.
That Nolty 1151 looks nice too! I made a note of it now to remember it, when I think of my 2025 line up. I probably could replace a Hobonichi Weeks with that... Especially if the paper works nice with fountain pens. I haven't tested yet, but now I need to. Thank you for commenting 🙏🏻 I'm so glad to hear that you have found something that works and that you love 💖 And that I'm not alone with my love for the different kind of monthly 😊
Thank you for commenting 🙏🏻 I love the vertical monthly! It just works better for me. Now I'm just pondering will I make a four-weekly or monthly calendar for next year. This year I have monthly pages so one month per spread, but last year I had four weeks on one spread because I didn't have enough boxes to fit 31 days on a page, but I kinda enjoyed having always full week views. But in that case I will need 13 spreads for one year... How are you planning to make it?
I love your video. I did purchase the 1180 for 2025. I love the size and really want to use it for everything. I’m just not sure how to set it up. I’m just very excited to figure it out. Thank you
Thank you so much for commenting 🙏🏻 I really hope you will enjoy your 1180 next year. It's so versatile! I used it first for planning, but now I'm using the weekly pages as my health journal. The size is perfect and I do enjoy the paper also - don't know what paper it is, but I do like it. It just works 👍🏼 Remember it doesn't have to be perfect - the most important thing is that it works and you enjoy using it. Sometimes it just takes a few trial and errors to figure it out. Wishing you fun moments planning your set up 😊
At least Amazon Japan is selling it. www.amazon.com/1180-NOLTY-Lights-Memo-Small/dp/4800575281?th=1 I don't know about those two other places. I hope you can find a place where to get it 🙂
@Katiplans It's funny because I want to use smaller ones, but they never feel right & I end up buying the A5s and it feels right. Then I use the small ones for scratch paper. May I ask if you are from Germany? I spent a few years in Germany as a child & went to school there. I remember some German & I still have a good German accent... but a small vocabulary! 😀
No, I'm not from Germany. I'm a Finn and live in Finland 🇫🇮 But I too lived in Germany as a child and went to school for one year there so German was my first foreign language and it's always close to my heart. And I do sometimes pronounce things in a German way by accident... Why do you ask? Did I sound like it 😅 Where are you from?
Oh no, I'm sorry to hear that 😢 I know how it feels when you are excited about something and realize it's not available at this moment. But luckily those calendars usually come back every year. I don't know when they start selling it, but I will keep my eyes open not to miss the 2025 release. I'm assuming earliest July, but latest maybe September. I bought mine at the end of November in 2023. Thanks for commenting 🙏🏻
Every time I see this planner I want one! Hahaha…but I don’t know what I’d use it for at the moment so I will just enjoy yours. Thanks for sharing 😊❤

I'm curious, what’s your main planner for 2024?
@@Katiplans The Hobonichi Cousin for personal & the A5 Jibun Techo for work. I've tried others before, but I keep coming back to these two. 🙂☮️♥️
Ooh, nice 👍🏼 So you use those big planners that I always admire and dream about 😅
