Sorry to hear Two Crab won't be going up the mountain with you tomorrow. But I also think he made a wise decision. You don't want to try to climb mountains with your mind not confident and with shoes you don't trust. Well, tomorrow is the day, PHD. I'm excited for you to get up Mama K. I saw your summit pic, now I get to watch the journey. Take care, get a good night's rest and stay safe. See you tomorrow for #2.

2 Crab is getting on down the trail, isn't he? He looks like he is speed hiking to me, but maybe fast is how you have to walk to through hike a long trail like that. It just seems like if you slow down a bit, the hike might be more enjoyable, and you'd be much less likely to fall. I hope he healed well and I do give both of y'all credit for Hiking for Mike. Congratulations on another impressive through hike, PHD. I wonder if you're going to do it again next year, or will you try the PCT or hike from South Florida to Canada, using the AT, the International AT (north of Kathtadin), and South of the AT he did. The Florida Trail and another through Alabama and Georgia South of Springer Mountain.
Two crab probably made the right decision for him. Safe travels up to the top if Mt. K.
