If you put in a small section of road either side of a disposal site (a landfill and incineration plant) it will isolate the emptying process! :)

Heya biffster Moving to Amsterdam hopefully april. Lots of parties coming up, Unleashed 21 march, Paradise 28 March, THE Wasteland 4 april, Boudor Bizarre 18 April. Life is very hectic.
@11:10 */bonks Biffa for bonkin' the noobs* I just binged watched the "old pre-traffic fixing" Biffa who used to use 6 lane roundabouts :P We all have done it at some point LOL
I don't want to offend anyone, but these road connections and the way everything is build around it, is absolutely horrendous. I'd say the person just started playing a week ago. 🤨
As someone who plays an almost stock console version of this game, i think i know why people use a lot of the 6-lane roads for heavy roundabouts; its all they have. They probably dont have all the DLCs so options for 1-way roads are 1-lane highway ramp, 2-lane, 4-lane highway, and 6-lane. Suddenly the 6-lane roundabouts make more sense.
Actually, I think the builder did a great job creating different areas across their map and working out their own roundabout fixes. They look better than my fixes do any day of the week. (not interested in using mods right now) I sunk a few hours into this game this past weekend, and my road building skills are horrible. They're better than they were when I first started playing though, thanks to Biffa and a few other people. I think my biggest aggravation is when I try to build roads that meet up, but they rarely meet up at one node. I don't know if the ground's not level or what, but it is so annoying not having perfect corners! I run out of most of my money trying to fix that issue. I hope they make an undo command for this game, just so I can automatically undo that kind of stuff without losing money.
I just came here because of the thumbnail. The fact is, I've tried build that kind of roundabout with flyover. But it still can't solve the problem, until I create another underpass for another point to point.
Hey Biffa! Not quite related to Cities Skylines, but what are your thoughts on the Ryzen 9 3900x, as this is your current CPU. I'm thinking of upgrading to that CPU in the not too distant future :) Greetings from Austria ;)
Hey Biffa, Thanks for checking out the city. Yeah I'm totally new playing this. :) I am a bit confused though. I mean when you played my map you had like 7% traffic to start, yet when I open the exact same map that I shared to you I have roughly 64-65% traffic. I can't help but wonder if something didn't get transferred over? My issue I was having was that the city magically started losing money and people. For the most part my city had been pretty profitable until now. Also in my defense I don't have any of the mod/dlc mass transit etc so I couldn't build many of those roads you put in. My game has very limited highway types...etc. So that's pretty much why I used 6 lanes for the roundabout (not many choices in the roundabout mod I have) which also puzzles me since I had understood the roundabout mod was supposed to setup the lane rules automatically with traffic manager. As I am new I am now also wondering how I can access the map you changed? I do not see anything updated on the share for example. Cheers!

My recommended videos now consists almost entirely of Would I lie to you, Fred Dibnah, and Biffa fixing cities :D
😁
Thanks Hugo !
For your question, there was nothing special going on the weekend. Now we have home office for weeks due to the current situation, so I'll plenty of time to manage my city :)
61 busses for 9 passangers? as a busdriver.. i think thats pretty spot on accurate
Heya biffster
Moving to Amsterdam hopefully april. Lots of parties coming up, Unleashed 21 march, Paradise 28 March, THE Wasteland 4 april, Boudor Bizarre 18 April. Life is very hectic.
Future welcome to the Netherlands :)
Welcome! Sorry to inform you some of these events will probably be cancelled...
@@InternetThe March events for sure, yeah
16:00 Forcing trucks to back up into an adjacent roundabout (which is also connected to the main local viaduct)? Oh Biffa, what have you done?!
Biffa, you had a city fix with 4% traffic, you got this. Piece of cake.
@11:10 */bonks Biffa for bonkin' the noobs* I just binged watched the "old pre-traffic fixing" Biffa who used to use 6 lane roundabouts :P We all have done it at some point LOL
You really make this look so easy! Thanks for the great content and tips.
I don't want to offend anyone, but these road connections and the way everything is build around it, is absolutely horrendous. I'd say the person just started playing a week ago. 🤨
I'm going to start playing today when I buy all the expansion dlcs. I'm sure my city will look similar if not worse
I don't know, looks like the same system my local City uses. Looks professional to me.
The difference is y'all watch biffa, so you'll likely fare better. Don't overdo it, the AI does the heavy lifting, all you need to do is help it.
@@BlueNEXUSGaming I'll be doing some vanilla cities before I add all the helpful mods

Yeah, but Lane Mathmatics is Vanilla. So, you'll likely be much better off because you'll see the Lane's effect on your Traffic.
That cargo terminal has turned into a black hole, or maybe a Hotel Calfornia! A steady stream of trucks enter, but none leave.
Oh this reminds me of my earliest cities when i thought more lanes is good solution for chocco blocc.... :D
(not interested in using mods right now)
I sunk a few hours into this game this past weekend, and my road building skills are horrible.
Ayyy more of the sweet sweet Biffa content! Keep up the good work!
Why does this disaster look like something I would build 😂😂😂
I love how Hugo is actually a thing now
Yay! This will make the last hour of work a bit more bearable!
Thanks Biffa, your videos and consistent approach has made all of my cities so much better. repetition for emphasis... keep 'em coming!
23:03 first the worms and then that laugh Biffas brain can't handle the traffic anymore! He had enough spaghetti, mama mia!
Biffa I'd like to thank you for your lane management, it helps alot on the xbox version. Take a sip of tea for your greatness😁👍☕
Just like me - come back after the weekend, I can't remember shift either.
That is the Highway intersection that I always do but underground, the highway as well as the roundabout. Works pretty well 😊
I just came here because of the thumbnail.
I'm thinking of upgrading to that CPU in the not too distant future :)
Greetings from Austria ;)
Hey Biffa,
Thanks for checking out the city. Yeah I'm totally new playing this. :)
I am a bit confused though.
Cheers!
Dear biffa, I think you should do some more vanilla cities.
