i got into your music during some pretty bad times in 2022 i had gone through some depression a year and a bit before, woke up in hospital, mental health ward, breakups, yadda yadda i had listened to goreshit, omoi, and mr kitty, among others, but it wasn't _right_ it was right around when you released the first chapters of hope left me, though it turns out i had listened to your synthwave covers years ago though it took me a while to realise that was the case it was. probably the first time i'd been able to cry in a while. like, nothing else quite _got it_ yknow? i started listening to your original albums for stretches at a time, just laying on my couch, at this point it's a ritual that brings me peace that blend of quiet determination alongside crushing lyrics, synths broken by beats that feel like being swept into rough tides and dragged under, before surfacing at the end with derelict hearts, or apathy, or karoshi, is truly an almost spiritual experience what i love most about your music is how painfully human it feels you have real talent, and i'm excited to see where you go from here, thanks for everything, really
