What a bunch of crap records. I think this whole RSD thing is dead.
I'm so sick of live albums for RSD. No more Picture discs as well. I am looking at 5-10 records.
What do you think of zoetrope discs?

I'll take the Croce, and lot of the blues from the 1963 to 1966 tours throughout europe. I'll probably get the Bill Evans. I spent a lot of time in the Northwest, so will probably pick up that jazz album. And, since Death Cab for Cutie is from my college town, they are on the list. I have already that Doors-concert of Sept 20 in 1968 in Stockholm. My 2 records has a yellow sleeve and a very nice picture of the band on the cover. It was a release here in Europe. I think this new release comes out of the USA.

Thanks for going through all the RSD stuff👍🏻 The releases I need are: Sparks - No 1 in heaven(love the obi and thick outer sleeve, btw), and the 2 Wall of Voodoo releases. I'd really like to pick up the Soft Cell release, but it's pretty pricey, so I'll probably pass on that. How many copies of Sparks did you get? Some of the other channels only had 1 or 2 copies😱
Mike you're a big doors fan like me you put aside that RSD doors live record please give us a review on the sound quality before record store Day the last RSD doors live in Fresno the sound quality was very poor sounds like it was recorded with two microphones up to a TV

Can you play those 3" singles on a traditional turntable or do you have to use the Crosley?
They will play on a standard turntable, but you will need to use a fully manual turntable. An automatic or semi-automatic turntable will pick up the tonearm before you can play the record.

You need an adapter to play 3" on a traditional.
Hi Mike. First time caller, long time listener: How do the masses go about encouraging labels to release albums to vinyl on RSD? Gomez, "How We Operate" and The Gray's, "Ro-Sham-Bo" are two that i think would translate well to remastered, first time on vinyl releases. I would certainly expect you to record a video addressing this process....in your spare time, of course. Rock on.

Going to try and get a copy of the Bill Evans from you but if I don't get it before it sells out I am hoping it will be an OJC Series release at some point.
I've got about a dozen on my want list. Mostly live albums plus I leave a few slots open for stuff you recommend. I've bought several records based on how you say they sound, so far you haven't steered me wrong.
Honestly, I'm going to swing by the store about an hour-ish before they open and see what's shaking. I would like the Wilco or the live Yes, but I'm on about 2.5 out of 10. If the line is short-ish, I'll hop in line, if it's long, not the end of the world that I miss out.
People start lining up at midnight, 8 hours before you open? Can you do anything about resellers who are just there to put them on eBay at jacked-up prices?

I wonder why the vast majority of everyone says”film” when you mean record? There is no film in your video camera or phone. You RECORD videos. Try saying it and you’ll adjust. You can do it! Smarter is always better. ☮️
