I do not agree with idea of Darius calling his bro for super, it would make it awkward to put Draven himself later. Besides, you want Darius to use his Noxian Guillotine for finisher. But if Draven got to call other Reckoners for his cinematic super... well, let's say Abbachio's GHA in JJBA:ASBR is a good example.
Having Darius call Draven for his super isn't a bad idea because in fighterz Android 18 called in Android 17 for her super before 17 was even a playable character
I agree with the Draven part, i dont think it would be THAT good cuz they dont have much to do with each other anymore But the army not coming to attack is TOTALLY a waste of potential. He is THE hand of Noxus, THE representation of strenght, the army are HIS people, it would be amazing to see them fighting together
I feel like Braum had at least twice the effort put into him compared to almost all of the others. Illaoi is really good too, but everyone else feels like wasted potential compared to what we've seen those characters do, both in cinematics and in the other games.
Well it does make sense that as the game devolpment got along, the quality went up. Darius, who is probs the first champ conceived has the most basic supers. Then the rest of the roster gets progressively better but u can really see the shine on the Illaoi and Braum supers.
Illaoi and Braum was made during the later stages of development so it makes sense. While the others + Jinx and probably Katarina was made during the first reveal. They could update them later on the final release, but we'll see.

I think your missing the most important thing RITO care about... MONEY. legendries will obviously have their own animations thats why most of the super 3's are lackluster

A lot of these are cool concepts but I think the 3D animation lacks some snappiness and audio lacks some higher impact to really sell how powerful these attacks are supposed to be
I was looking foward to your videos covering the game. Casual players (and specially loreheads of league) really bring cool perspectives that fgc creators don't really focus on. Pd.: I think the best cameos would be the DBFZ style, where having certain combinations of characters in your team would alter the look of your lvl 3s (i.e. Gotenks+Picollo).
They need more hits in the level 3s, like ekko should have smacked the suspended enemy at least a few more times and Yas should have done a flurry type of strike at the start.

Blitz Ult would be so funny. Blitz grabs you and pulls you right in from of him. Still in his hand, the opponent character watches in fear has he casually starts glowing and overcharging with electricity before blowing up (in-game blitz R) at point blank range
I still find it funny that only Pyke and Miss fortune are missing out of the Ruined King game roster and both of them seem like pretty likely future characters. That shows in my opinion what a strong cast that game had.
One thing to keep in mind, since the supers will happen alot during tournaments/matches, keeping them short helps alot. Nothing worse than watching a cutscene for too long, i cant stand SF6 CAs/LV3s
I have one small issue with Illaoi lvl 3, the snap, the burst of damage, the tempo of it, feels a little bit off. I feel that this only issue would be fixed if there was something between the pupil contracting and the jaw snapping, like some kind of vignette effect or something else; or reducing the time between the snap and the pupil contracting.
I think its harder to incorporate magic/Mage characters into a fighting game because it just seems like this isn't what they should be doing thematically, but I think they did ahri pretty well while keeping her similar to her kit in league.
I still wonder if Nicky knows both supers cost 1 meter and ultimate just 2 not 3. Maybe he knows and just mvc lingo is rooted to deep, maybe he doesn't.
I hope they iron out some of these before the release. Since this is just the Alpha i have high hopes! Knowing some people on the dev team are competitive players of games like MvC2 really gives me hope.
If you like how each character has a different reaction to killgore you should see Guilty Gear Faust's instant kill in XRD (or elphelt's instant kill from the same game) or his super in Strive.
Honestly a lot of the supers don't feel impactful to me. There's not enough movement, not enough hits, not enough speed to sell the impact etc. Braum's kit and Illaoi's 1 and 3 are how it should be done. Also the lipsync doesn't match the audio sometimes. Look at Darius here 3:56, his mouth stops moving before finishing the sentence
How about a tierlist stream to speculate how great could 2xko supers be for potential champions, based on primary and secondary roster predictions from last time?
Feels to me like Braum and Illaoi's animations are closer to being finalized than the regular Project L crew (and Yasuo). Really hope I'm right, because the devs can clearly do a lot better than whatever the heck is going on with Darius' level 3.

It does feel like later additions to the roster (Illaoi and Braum) got a lot more love in their supers compared to the 4 earliest characters. They are much more personalized and polished while the other 4 end up kinda generic and with weird camera angle shifts and cuts
It seems like every character announced after the initial promos for the game have much more interesting supers in terms of animations and spectacle with both Nagakabouros and the Poros. One of the biggest differences in my opinion that makes Darius and the rest have weaker supers is the lack of impact or isolation in sound effects during the supers.
I feel like we are getting another LOR situation here, where the big cinematic stuff is AGGRESSIVELY simple, and we gradually get more and more flashy stuff as the game progresses.
