Class 47 basic traction for me , although all my train handling was done on a 50 as with 50 and a 47 they were great looking BR machines.
Such a versatile loco.....
A bit sad that now all we have are small four coach, often over-loaded, and hugely expensive Cross-Country trains that terminate at Bournemouth.
When did intercity stop starting\terminating at poole?
