This sermon was a message I needed that was sent by God himself. I’ve been so stuck in the past lately longing to go back to the “good old days” that I’ve felt so hopeless in terms of my future. I pray to no longer dwell about my past and trust in the future that God has planned for me 🙏🏾
Just what I needed to hear! I have spent years longing for things that are either gone or never were. Thank God for the renewal that He has placed in my heart! I am no longer looking back! I want what God has in store for my future.
The first week of January I asked God what was my word for the year…He said “Forward” every time I hear that word it quickens me especially when the message goes along with what He has been speaking. Our Abba is a loving Father who longs for us to get into true relationship with Him! He wants to restore, heal, and set free us all. Looking back will only get you stuck and God will give you consequences…He chastises those He loves. If you know He is speaking don’t just say amen with your lips…be obedient and do it with faith and action. I have been disobedient because of comfort and fear. I know this message was for me! Thank you!❤

I was always told that it's because he's telling us to look& focus on him not look back or turn back or desire to be that we use to be. I'm still working on that. That's what I was always told. Please advise me if I'm wrong. God bless you all!
My honey passed a year ago. My ex has been kind to help with things around my house. He recently found Jesus, he says. He wants us to have a relationship, but I do not feel that way. He said it's from God, and we are supposed to be together. He says I have mourned too long, and that is disrespectful to God. We both go to different churches, and he has been disrespectful towards my church. He watches my church online and has to give his opinion on it. He professes his love for me, and then when I don't reciprocate back the way he wants, he starts cursing me and saying the GD word to me. I don't feel this is from God. I have so much anxiety over this bc he says we are supposed to be together it's God's will. I feel that if it was God's will, I wouldn't have so much anxiety. I feel like I shouldn't go backwards. I feel I shouldn't look back
How can two walk together except they agree. Please acknowledge God in all your ways and he will direct your path. If you’re feeling like this now pay attention to that still small voice.
The fact is she looked back and disobeyed Gods instructions. I think we forget that God means business and obedience is the difference between life and death. We don't know why she looked back , we don't know her intentions BUT we do know she didnt listen.

Places, relationships, familiarity, routine, comfort, safety, and jobs/finances. That season lasted a few years. When it all began, I thought this was it. Things were great and this would be my life. Short lived. Problems arose and nothing was what it seemed. I escaped that situation and the things attached with it. Now i find myself looking back and longing. Wondering if I even made the right choice at times. Everything is different now and I don’t know where I’m going. Sometimes past relationships lash out and serve as a reminder that I’m no longer welcome there. Then I see myself standing on one leg, wondering when or if I’ll ever stand firm again. The future is scary. Even more when you have a little on depending on you. I just want to provide and set a good example. I have to stop looking back. He isn’t done with me yet and I know there is so much left to come. I’ll always remember Lot’s wife.

How my looking back at my past in sorrow for all my bad decisions (as a long-time Christian), events that keep coming back during the night sleep, regrets, etc. How I wish I had been more committed to Jesus instead of committed to my self. Now I am old. Only Jesus can help and grant me peace.
I was about to get my breakthrough now at the beginning of May that was connected to my kingdom promise. I had a prior previous season of preparation and pruning and letting go of somethings a few months ago where I was about to get this same type of particular breakthrough connected to my promise land that God told me about but I had disobeyed God in that season and therefore I lost the breakthrough. God told me last week I was about to get another new opportunity now to try again to receive this breakthrough IF I obeyed the instruction He gave me last week. Unfortunately I procrastinated for too long to carry out the instruction and God has now confirmed to me that I have missed this breakthrough now due to the procrastination because He told me He was ready to give it soon. I wish I could continue now to pick up where I left off with the preparation but i don't think it would make sense to do that when I've just missed the breakthrough because doing the preparation now when I decide to would all be in vain because I'm doing it outside of the time when God wanted me to do it. I really don't know what to do about this now, it seems it's my own fault because now I can see why there was a big reason God told me on Sunday via 2 warnings to hurry up with the instruction to just do it
What a beautiful WELL SPOKEN message. We need to constantly remind ourselves of this as the mind plays great tricks on us regarding the past and because the future is unknown we tend to scare off instead of get excited of what is to come. Thank you Christine for delivering Gods word so perfectly!💓
