Living in London, the crazy weather (worst in over 3 decades) affected me quite a lot. The o2 arena got kinda broken...
The planes at Heathrow also had a hell of a time trying to land.

I was at LHR during storm Eunice, the wind got so strong I thought it was dangerous to stay out and it super hard to film.

Hey Swiss cheese! Could you do a video using Infinite Flight? That would mean a lot!
So I was on holiday in Catania where I come from this whole time, and only yesterday did we get the return trip with easyJet to London Luton. We had insane turbulence at approach and our pilot had to go around. The plane was an Airbus 320 214 and it was shaking like mad. To make it worse, we were landing in 58 knots of wind and the turbulence was still crazy. Despite all this, the pilot managed to do the butteriest landing I have ever experienced. Well done pilots. 👏👏👏
We reached our designated stand, but it STILL wasn't over. The ground crew said there was too much wind to open the doors and that we had to wait for the wind to slow down to 45 knots. Ended up having calm winds, but there were too many planes for us to disembark. Ended up waiting 2 hours to get off the plane, and another 2 hours queuing up for immigration. Missed our bus because of the queues. We should have been home by 6 pm, but we arrived at 9. Gosh, I hate Luton.

if im not mistaken its not allowed to land in 58 knots, was it a crosswind? crosswind limits for most planes are around 35 knots....

Now this is a very very good video despite of crazy weather going on a few hours ago in UK because i did watch that stream on Big Jet Tv for nearly 3 hours
in Heathrow, surprisingly most A380’s went around but all B777’s had no problems at all.
I think that's because of the A380's design, as the A380 is a double deck aircraft the height of the fuselage is really high compares to the 777 almost double. If you look at the A380 from the side it feels as if 2 777 fuselage are stacked on top of each other. Due to the height of the fuselage the surface area on the side of the aircart is big and mostly the winds blowing during the storm were soming across (except downdrafts and updrafts) the A380 was pushed in the opposite direction of the wind due to the large surface are of the fuselage at the sides. Hope this clears it. 😄
