  • Cox: The Universe Existed Before the Big Bang
The history of the Universe dates back to the Big Bang, an incredibly small speck of energy that exploded and expanded into the Universe we inhabit today. But have you ever wondered what came before the Big Bang? Scientists have found hints suggesting the existence of another universe preceding our own. They propose that our Universe might be just one in a series spanning vast time periods. This idea originates from renowned physicist Roger Penrose and has gained support from British physicist Brian Cox. Yet, is there solid evidence to back these claims or to delve further into the subject? Join us as we investigate the time before the Big Bang.

You know, as a kid, when I learned that space could have a shape and that we don't measure one, my idea for the Big Bang was that there was this TINY curvature that only becomes apparent with distances greater than the observable Universe, that eventually leads all matter back onto itself at a tremendous speed, thus causing a new Big Bang. My teacher thought I was insane and explained in terms I don't remember why that was not possible. Now, I realized this doesn't really answer any question, it just moves it further back. What started the initial cycle? And what sustains it?

Some say a singularity, some say there is no beginning, some say in the beginning there was a quantum field, some say it was God, some say we dont know.....
