I remember seeing somebody doing an ad for the "infinitely long 3D printer", but I never thought I would actually see somebody make a sword with it.

man 3D printing has changed the game in custom cosplay role playing items and also action figures. Its a designers dream, no need to pay a 3rd party , its whatever you can dream of.

I love solid works. I have been using Autocad for years and then switched to this it makes things so much easier in the 3d space. I do like the challenge with 2d space making it 3d though and converting it. ok take my money I would love to have this added to my collection! Granted this would be the start of my collection 😀

That's so cool! Now to make the remaining parts for the complete sword.
Now you need to learn how to do metal working so you can make real swords! With your craftsmanship I know you could become extremely talented at it. The way you plan things out, take time to do tedious tasks, and are just overall talented. I know you could do it well.
Seeing this machine makes me want to print a Medabot. A functional Medabot including the exoskeleton.
I would gladly pay for the files to this sword! And might I also add, for certain parts to stay glued together, I suggest using Weld-On 3. It will literally melt and FUSE PLA together. I use that on all my 3D PLA builds!

I don't have a 3D printer but I've been waiting for so long for someone to make a full Fusion Sword, so far I've seen no one to do it, so still no reason to buy a 3D printer. But the base sword is still pretty cool.
Hes really out done himself this time. I can't wait til I can try the popsicle stick one myself so I can pair it with my cloud figure

It's a great video, for a 3DP rookie like me, those technic like sanding, failament as a joint axis, combine 3dprint pen and iron it, to fit micro controller just reserved 0.5mm? for it, really enjoy watching it!

it's good build~~
but the stability is not strong.. one swing and it will break.. and i can see it slanted downwards subtly in the near middle when lying down flat to showcase..

I just have two complains:
1. this is only the main blade of the fusion sword so, where's the rest?
2. this sword may look cool with all the lights but it lacks edge. it can't cut anything.
other than that... great job.

imagine all this works and in FF7 Advent Children canon lore, Tifa and Cloud trade the swords with free food for life in their bar. I don't know is that fair if I was the swords creator.
