Milk first if you want your tea to be creamier. Pouring hot into the cold means fewer of the proteins in the milk are denatured and leads to a creamier taste. If you don't want it creamy then go tea first. But I will always do milk first.

my family uses tea bags to clean the worst off cast iron/non stick frying pans and wok, bc you're not supposed to put those in the dishwasher.

the tea thing depends on how you're making it for me. i don't often put the milk in first, but if you've got a big pot that's been brewing for a little while then putting the milk in first is a good way to determine how strong the tea is and if you need to top it up w more water or milk. if you're making a single cup and not a pot, then of course not milk first.

The tea thing, milk first ONLY when using a teapot and china cups. The rest of the time, tea first then milk, as it clogs up the tea bag and prevents it brewing properly.

To save the China, it's milk first. But I never remember to do that, and I often pour so much tea that there's no room left, so I should probably start putting the milk in first for a number of reasons.
And I don't have Netflix and I live in the mountains so I'm having to watch Bridgeton vicariously through these interviews, and I was fine until that brown dress, nips to the wind, showed up. That's just low class and tasteless. However, all 3 white dresses and the lavender are stunning!

Wait when I was in England they said the proper way to have tea was to put the milk and sugar in before the tea!!
Remember, this is before the invention of the teabag, so the tea would be fully brewed before being poured in. I brew tea leaves as well and put the milk, sugar and honey in first. I would not put milk first using a teabag since that would dilute the taste.
As the actress said (Who does she play again?), back then China was fragile, and teacups were smaller. The milk first was so the China wouldn't stain or crack.
I put milk in first with coffee (haven't drank tea in 22 years) My dad told me its to stop the water burning the coffee 😂 idk if true but its 12 years since he told me and i still do it
