This is a Case Study of an Installation of a Mitsubishi Dual Fuel intelli-HEAT™ Gas Furnace and a Hyper Heat Inverter Outdoor Unit in the Warm Springs Boise Idaho area.
INTRO
Eric is a home owner in Boise, in the Warm Springs area. He has a two-story house that was never comfortable in the basement, where his master bedroom is located. He had an old 80% efficient furnace with an old 10 SEER Air Conditioner that could not keep up in the hottest days of the summer.
The Challenge:
Challenge 1: An uncomfortable Master Bedroom
Challenge 2: Reduce natural gas consumption
Challenge 3: Inefficient old-style air condition that is either 100% on or 100% off.
The Solution:
Solution 1: Installation of a quiet, and very energy efficient wall mount ductless head, with its own controller in the basement, to keep the master bedroom at the most comfortable temperature.
Solution 2: Replacement of the 80% furnace with a 97% S9V2 Furnace, installation of a heat pump, which replaced 'heat creation' with 'heat moving' from outside to inside, all the way down to -13F outside.
Solution 3: Replace the old 10 SEER Air conditioner with a High Efficiency Inverter Driven Mitsubishi Heat Pump which is far more efficient than the old HVAC system.
