You got some canny weather mind and what a view from where you pitched. Love chicken but never tried chicken liver before but when it was all cooked up, it looked great. Those night shots were amazing and it may have been 16C inside it it looked dam chilly outside in the morning with that amazing rising sun. Well worth that steep climb up for that great camping spot, cheers Alan
Absolutely spoilt on this one buddy the weather really played ball, I was a happy lad lol. Chicken livers are so good, cheap easy to cook and nutritious… what’s not to love? Lol. Hope you’re well my mate. Cheers ATB Steve
Mate was a lush camp from start to finish just no nonsense chilling and cutting it back to basics 🙌🏼. Get that diary checked and let’s get out I owe you a beer or two mate 👌🏼
Smashing fell Simon and certainly worth a run up for sunrise alone if the conditions allow. I’m a sucker for throwing stuff in a pan 😂. Hope you’re well ATB Steve

Absolutely perfect location and so many places to pitch to experience something different. Could be in Canada or anywhere in the world looking out from this summit. I still fancy Sheffield pike for an easy night out possible bivvy. Anyways thanks for watching and next time we’re out I’ll sort the bait out 👌🏼. Catch you soon

Lovely vid there mate, it’s a beaut of a hill for the height. That looked a canny route up mind, I went up the other side, deffo a one I’d camp on again. Drone footage superb, I’ll be picking your brains with that like 😂, I need one lol. Proper chilled out camp, who can ask for more. Catch you soon, Atb mate

Spot on Steve, cracking camp mate, looks like a great spot you found there 👌, great weather for you too, looks like there was no wind, views were class, especially from the drone, and a class view in the morning too, looked fresh like, nice one mate, atb Mick 👍
Mate it was amazing very warm on the evening but soon cooled off when the sun went down then the next morning was lovely and fresh. Can’t beat it and just great to be out. Thanks for watching Mick hope you’re well
Who doesn't like a big hoop 😂😂😂 suits you sir nice spot there Steve not a fan of liver but that looked nice better than the boil in a bag atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
Ha ha ooooh lol, yeah mate not many people are tbh but I reckon for value and flavour it’s unbeatable kind you chicken liver is more subtle than calf’s liver and think it was 90p for a pack. I love the stuff. Jimmy it’s a lovely spot up there reckon you’ll get a hammock up somewhere on the Dodd too. Hope you’re well mate 👌🏼
Hey Steve, I'm new to this hiking and vlogging. The details you capture are great! What's the drone you're using? I'd love to learn how to film from above! Thank you for your content, it's class
Hi Brodie thanks for the comment, yeah the drone is the dji mini 3 pro, the 2 is cheaper and can get equally good shots. May be worth looking at. Thanks for stopping by, ATB Steve
Thanks Andy I was truly spoilt on this camp had it all but could have done with a few beers to really kick back and enjoy my environment lol. Thanks for the kind words and hope you’re well pal. ATB Steve
Lovely spot there, I’ve just started my wild camping adventures, I suffer badly with anxiety so it’s a struggle for me, but I’m getting out there. My first experience was an awful one (50mph winds and rain on pike o blisco) but I made it through. Love your passion and enthusiasm and I hope I get there once I overcome these fears. 😊
Ahhh brilliant well the camping will certainly help the anxiety and what I would say is keep things simple on smaller fells and just enjoy the experience instead of pushing up to higher peaks. This vid proves you don’t need to race up those big hills for the views, and check the mountain weather across met office, MWIS and choose your pitch accordingly to compensate for the wind speed and direction. But like you say you survived it and it’s part of gaining that experience so just keep smashing it mate 🙌🏼 and you’ll experience what most people never will. Take care and thanks for watching, Steve
@@outdoorslifestyle2900 yea I’m staying low level, I’m an experienced hiker so know all the safety precautions etc. we’ve hiked most of the high summits in the Lake District. 😊

@@the_north_is_ace1523 cheers mate yeah it’s a cracking spot and certainly worth a visit for a quick overnighter without any chew. Think I’ll skip up onto Sheffield pike next time. Thanks for watching 👌🏼
