  • The Le Voyageur LV6.8 LF is ar ather luxurious motorhome with very large lounge and kitchen and will cost at least EUR96k but can carry a payload of getting on for 1,500kg! The kitchen is enormous for a van of this size but comes only with two rings.
    I live in a motorhome full time and travel around Europe in it. I spend most of my time in Poland, Germany and Italy. Vanlife is my life.
    In my RUclips channel, I present reviews of recreational vehicles. Here you will find campervans and motorhomes from the cheapest camper vans to the most expensive luxury liners, from various companies including Hobby, Hymer, Carthago, Westfalia, Wingamm, La Strada, Frankia, Wavecamper, Maurer, Clever Vans, Pössl, Bürstner, Niesmann Bischoff, Action Mobil, Reisemobil Manufaktur, Robeta, Trigano, Challenger, EuraMobil, Laika, Le Voyageur, Forster, Mobilvetta Design, Affinity, Globe Traveller, Benimar, Roller Team, Adria, Tourne, Megamobil, VW, Mercedes, CS, Renault, Ford, Fiat, Carado, Sunlight, Baileys, Chausson, Balcamp, Knaus, Weinsberg, Mitsubishi, Woelcke, Reisemobile Bürow and others.
    I do this by regularly attending trade events such as CMT Stuttgart, Abenteuer und Allrad, Caravan Salon Dusseldorf, Warsaw Caravan and Camping Show and sometimes others.
    I cover equipment, including 12v electrical equipment and talk a lot about lithium batteries.
    I also show some of the places I have visited in Europe in my own motorhome, as well as the places you can stay at! I try to give as much coverage as I can to official campsites and free places which I use for overnighting. Therefore you can find here the aire or stellplatz that you are possibly looking for.

    Better late than never, lol,, Hi ,,,,The LV6,,,Was planned as a "FT" (full-time) living Motorhome. I am all for a roomy kitchen.,,It has cool accent lighting on unique wood cabinetry,,, I'm not familiar with this wood but it is lovely.... 2 nice sized burners are adequate,,, Also,, the Drop bed is in an unusual placement/angle over cab,, UN-used lounge & floor space. The garage is a little much,, should have left room for the bathroom.. Ceramic materials were used for wash basin & commode.
    IMO,,a rig this size should possess a spacious bathroom with dbl drains in shower. Nice wardrobe,, in the bathroom?. I hope it is water tight and/or Cedar lined..
    Nice flooring.
    What appeals to me is the beautiful woodwork and flooring. The contrast/combination is very attractive.:)
    The voyager has a step-well cover,, Well Done!! Much prefer the interior FP on this Coach,, although I prefer the LV6, wood craftsmanship and flooring. The Lighter blue graphics on the exterior of this coach show well also.:)

    Alan, You found the kitchen of my dreams ... I would prefer it in a white interior .. I'm not big on that wood tone .... Great deep sink !

    Lovely vans! From a practical point of view the second one would suit me better but I did love the first. Such a big kitchen but there are not that many dishes you could cook if entertaining on a two ring hob. That big kitchen deserved a cooker as standard!

    Somehow I tend to like those with transversal pull down bed in the front, leaving a lot of space for kitchen and bathroom. Such as Wingamm Oasi 610 (when it has the optional large garage) or Chausson 630. Those have layouts that fit my preferences very well.

    A rolling kitchen with bath and bed. Interesting, very different from other motorhomes. Two burners? to the large kitchen ?, there must be too few, I often use three burners when I make dinner. Nice bathroom and lots of storage space, the price was a little above average in this size. Seemed like quality material was used on the interior, the solution on the whole interior was very good, liked this one.

    I freaking love it that finally somebody made something different.
    Love the kitchen,love the living, love the bed on top, love the layout.
    Unfortunately I dont love the price at all though.

      In 2017 Hymer had a similar layout in a smaller frame (6m x 2m20) the B 444 DL. Font Vendôme has a 5m40 base van with this layout but with no garage but a roof gallery. It’s call the Bel Horyzon for 25 years.
      For the record Le Voyageur is a luxurious brand. The craftsmanship is quite extraordinary. That’s explain the price.

    Novel layout but what's the point of a large kitchen with no oven or grill - not for me!

  • @ianroddie3806
    @ianroddie3806 3 года назад +2

    At that price I'd expect 3 rings, a cooker and a microwave.

    I prefer the second one. But again why oh why can't they make a nice sitting area? I would like to see that the driver seats are not included in the living space. After a drive during the day i don't want to sit in them in the evening aswell! MAKE A L shape lounge sofa with a tv in front of it, not on the side so you break your neck! Train sit or kitchenette sucks!

    Hate the first one, like a kitchen on wheels, however, i did like No.2 being a family man, a few beds suits me fine..however, i accept that motorhomes are like peanut butter...

    The names are indeed dire. I rather like having the bed over the cab if it is the only bed in the motorhome, however I think the LF is a bit of an awkward layout personally, there are other motorhomes less than 7 metres which I would greatly prefer to that one. The GJF is a pretty standard layout and it is okay. If I had the kind of money required for that I would save up and get a Niesmann + Bischoff personally.

    I never understood WHY there are 3 cooking rings to begin with. They are always spaced so close together it would be impossible to use all 3 at the same time, unless your pans are about 6 inches in diameter. LOL

    Well thats a motorhome!
    Hi Alan! if you would compare it to the mobilvetta k-yacht series, which one would be the most Bang for the buck you think?
    I really like the quality of the pilote, but then the mobilvettas design is more stylish.. and with the 4.4chassi it gives the premium motorhomes a real match...

    • @VanlifewithAlan
      @VanlifewithAlan  3 года назад

      No, Chris, I would much prefer this Le Voyageur, I don't think the two are comparable. But this is much more expensive than the Mobilvetta.

    • @chriswong8400
      @chriswong8400 3 года назад +1

      @@VanlifewithAlan Yes, me to, you cant really do a fair compairison between the two, but i think that a brand new L.V is a bit pricy for the difference, yes i think you get most "bang for the buck" on a mobilvetta (because you can keep a pile of the "bucks").
      Then if i had an unlimited pocketbook, i might go for something even more fancy. What would you choose if money wasnt an object?
      Hard to get a super luxus big motorhome, and still be able to park in city centres and tight camp spots. Maybe one of each? :):)
