Hey man, youre a wealth of knowledge. Anything to get these guitars out of the hands of anyitemflippers and bringing them back to life. I've messed with switch replacement and thats about it, so learning the modding side of things is amazing to me right now! I have little kiddos too man, so I know how valuable time is.

Found your channel, great stuff you're doing, and you may be able to help with a project I am thinking about doing. It sounds super easy but I am a dummy lol. Basically I want to take a Kramer Striker neck and make it work with the guitar hero live body. I've lost the dongle for the Kramer so I want to use the internals of the live body. Have you done this and I am just not seeing it or is this a dumb idea?

I actually have done something similar a few times. I have videos of 2 of them. One recent where I put an xplorer style neck on a les paul and an older one where I put a GH Live neck on a les paul. Both vids are just showing and playing but as for doing the work, it's not all that hard but does require a lot of patience, lots of cutting plastic and epoxy and/or screws. I have a lot of videos banked to upload but I will put on my video ideas list to make a slight tut on how to put whatever necks on any body.

@@ninjapwnsatlyfe I would for sure love to see the video. A quick run down on what's necessary would ease the stresses for sure lol. Thanks for the quick response for sure!

Hey, Since you have a lot of videos on converting guitars and stuff like that i thought youd be the one to ask this question. Would putting the guts of an SG into an xplorer body be feasible? The SG is arduino modded with mech frets which im not sure if that matters

Anything is possible so yes. The trickiest part there is either destroying the original main board or making a custom circuit board on XP for start/sel and guide/dpad if wanted. Other than that it's pretty straight forward. I actually have a "ps2" XP body. One that has been modified to have the SG start/back in place of the 360 stuff. If you're interested I could give it up for the price of shipping. I dont need it and it just needs a paint job
