Thanks . I made a mistake of putting a foreign property in my wife's sole name. Now all of this money will need to be spent on the care costs. Probably a € 300,000 loss.

Basically property development is a massive pain in the ass, and people cannot be trusted without breathing down their neck. Definitely not passive, because of human nature.
If people did what they said they were going to do, when they said they would do it by, to the standard they said they would, life would be much easier.
I have similar stories.
