I played the original version of this back in the day and thought it was great. Succinct rules combined with straightforward play that has just enough added flavor to keep it interesting and realistic.
Looks pretty interesting. Thanks for the review. I'm not much into computer sims anymore but one I will definitely be getting back into eventually is called Steel Beasts. It's a bit pricey but it's been constantly upgraded since it's initial release. I remember playing the Fulda Gap scenario quite often and trying to stem the Soviet juggernaut was quite an eye opener about what NATO would of been up against. Of course, it's not likely that they would of had anybody as inept as me making decisions.
+SingleHandedWarfare Oh. I heard you say that during the video, but assumed when LnL reimplemented the system, they changed the name. I don't understand, Derek. Is WaW no longer part of LnL?
Yes, WaW still belongs to Lock 'N Load Publishing. It's a different system than Corp Command is all. There are other games in the Corp Command system besides DEL. Rommel at Gazala, Totensonntag, etc. that aren't part of the WaW timeline.
We miss seeing your videos, Bro! Hope you're happy and healthy!
Great review Derek!
Solid as always... thanks for this one!

There's a definite quality vs quantity dynamic with this one
What about the story? I've heard the World at War system has a great storyline.
This isn't the WaW system. It's Corp Command, although this is supposed to kind of take place somewhere in that storyline.
